I'm currently considering switching from RPG Maker 2003 to RPG Maker MV, since MV offers more flexibility for character portraits and larger illustrations.

The story, characters, and overall concept would remain the same.

Since you kindly offered to help with character portraits and battle artwork, I wanted to ask whether working with RPG Maker MV would be easier or more convenient for you.

I haven't made a final decision yet, and I would really appreciate your opinion!

I'm currently developing a Touhou fan RPG using RPG Maker 2003. The game takes place in Gensokyo and will feature familiar Touhou characters such as Reimu Hakurei, Marisa Kirisame, and many others.

I'm looking for a pixel artist who might be interested in helping with character walking sprites.

Since this is a non-commercial fan project, I'm currently looking for volunteers who would be willing to contribute without payment. Of course, you would receive proper credit for your work!

I completely understand that you're busy with university, so there would be no strict deadlines or pressure.

If you're interested, I would love to start with just one character, Reimu Hakurei, rather than asking for lots of sprites at once.

I've been thinking about which character portrait would be best to start with for my Touhou RPG.

I would love to start with Reimu Hakurei, since she will be one of the main characters in the game.

For her portrait, I was thinking of an upper-body illustration, showing her from the head down to around her waist.

I'd like her to wear her classic red-and-white shrine maiden outfit, staying as faithful as possible to her original Touhou design.

A confident expression with a slight, friendly smile would be perfect!

Of course, there's absolutely no rush, and I don't want to put any pressure on you. We can discuss the details and image dimensions before you begin.

Looking for a Volunteer Map Designer for My Touhou RPG (RPG Maker 2003)

I'm currently developing a fan-made Touhou RPG using RPG Maker 2003.

My goal is to recreate Gensokyo as faithfully as possible, featuring familiar locations from the Touhou universe.

Some of the locations I'd love to include are:

• Hakurei Shrine
• Human Village
• Forest of Magic
• Scarlet Devil Mansion
• Misty Lake
• Youkai Mountain
• Bamboo Forest of the Lost
• Eientei

I'm looking for someone who knows the Touhou universe and has experience creating maps in RPG Maker 2003.

What I'm looking for:

Someone who could help me recreate Gensokyo's locations using RPG Maker 2003 tilesets, or help design suitable custom maps.

We would start with just one location, the Hakurei Shrine, and gradually expand the world together.

This is a passion project, and unfortunately, I don't have a budget for paid commissions. I'm looking for someone who would enjoy contributing voluntarily.

Of course, everyone who contributes will receive proper credit in the game!

I'm looking for help finding or creating Touhou character sprites, especially Reimu, Marisa, Sakuya, Remilia and Flandre.

Ideally, the sprites should have four walking directions with three animation frames per direction and be compatible with RPG Maker 2003.

I've tried creating sprites with AI, but the walking animations haven't worked properly.

Does anyone know of free-to-use Touhou sprite packs, or would anyone be interested in helping me with this project?

Of course, I would give proper credit to the original artists and respect their licensing conditions.
