I am not quite sure for what I should look out for.

I am not sure if I can do anything with the mined resources but could not find a way to do so.
It feels a bit strange to rotate the camera with the right mouse button and use it for interaction too.
!! WARNING: UNSOLICITED ADVICE !!
For the potential: I can imagine that this is your first project. WOW + KCD2 sounds quite ambitous and is virtually impossible to pull of. You probably seen it a lot but you should start with a smaller project.
I made the mistake and worked about one year on a passion project and reworked it three times from scratch because I saw that the whole project structure was off or the movement system would have to change to make it feeld good. Then I finally decided that I would have to learn a lot more to be able to make a game similar to Rimworld.
Not what I did at the end but if you want to make the game. I would recommend that you make the system in another project first. For example: Make Jam-Game about crafting with an inventory system. Then you can implement an even better system into your big project.
1. I thought I will have to carefully throttle the reel
2. The first time I tried to catch a bigger fish and the line immediatly snapped
3. I got to the middle and tried to focus on bigger fish
Other remarks:
I think clicking the mouse button rather than holding is OP. It felt better and more efficient and the line cannot snap at all. Also movement seems kind of useless for me.
Thank you for that detailed review. This will be a crucial contribution to future updates.
If you are wondering how the aiming works: The last part of the drawing and calculates the tangent for the direction (or actully the spawn position for some spells). I should probably say this somewhere O.o
I knew I would have to invest more into onboarding, but I had to get feedback like this to properly do it.
Thank you for your critique.
We currently have no gravity so adding a jump would mean a lot of changes. We will probably have to fix the problems in another way.
I was not aware of the stancil buffer but I quickly looked into it and assume that our game would not be a good usecae for them. We use camera in the diffrent areas that are spacialy seperated and we are able to switch between. But I can see how the stencil buffer can be quite useful for simpler portal-like structures or illusions.
Thank you for your insights!
I thinks its a general bug related to the doors and not related to any special room. The bug should stop appearing if you stand still for a brief moment after entering a door.
We rely on changing the plane of movement instead of using gravity, thats why you seem to float and cannot come 'down'.
Like I already stated somewhere, we were not able to confidently reproduce the bug due to a lack of time and playtesting
Edit: I just tried to replicate your bug and it was actully related to this special room, It should be a simple fix for futhure releases. Thanks again for the detailed explanation!
Thank you for your for your kind words.
The whole game actually takes place in the little house. Have you tried closing the doors? Each key has a special effect and lead to another door. But you will have to close the door first to open a diffrent path, with a diffrent key.
Also, thank you for the bug report. We fix it asap after the voting period.
Thank you!
I really appreciate your comment. We will look into the bug you described.
Sadly, we encountered it for the first time toward the end the dealine and we could not reproduce it so we thought it won't encounter to often :/
We also plan on further improvements of the game, icluding adding some other stuff.
Hello, this will be my second Game Jam and I have spend roughly the last year building prototypes but never released anything before. I am used to Godot and did some other non game related stuff before.
I would love to join a Team of Artists (or solo Artist) and help them realize their game idea.
