Try checking to see if your computer has the video codec; the most well-known one is K-Lite—maybe that's the problem.

Make sure the version you downloaded is the smartphone version. If you're running it in the RPG Maker MZ emulator, try other emulator options as well. If you're on a computer, you should download the Mac or Windows version; just unzip it and open the .exe file

If you can read the game’s initial message before the error appears, follow the instructions in the message: download a video codec for your device—the most popular one is the K-Lite Codec Pack—and install it so that the animations will appear in your game.

Could you give me more details? When did this happen? Were you trying to watch one of the animations? When did you open the game? If so, try closing and reopening the game.

Does the Android version require an emulator? Which one did you try? JoiPLAY? AOPAOP? Or one of the other two? Because the test was only performed on AOPAOP, which for some reason is currently down... Can you download the Windows version and run the .exe file? If you see any error messages, let me know and, if possible, send a screenshot of the screen. You can also send me a private message on Patreon if you’d like.

The executable (.exe) depends on which version you download; to run it, use the Windows version. But for emulators, use the smartphone version.
