The idea of counting down while falling down sounded interesting, but I sadly couldn't get past the first obstacle. The map was hard to look at because of the bright colors so I sadly gave up :(

Nice game. I like the idea :)

The artwork is very cute!

During gameplay I noticed that presents spawn on the top row. Collecting those was a bit frustrating because enemies killed me out of nowhere :(

This game gives off a very funky vibe, but the controls are a bit too wonky for me :(

This is one of the videogames of all time

This game is super cozy! I love the vibe! You did everything right with the artwork and don't get me started on the music! At first in the tutorial I was like "Oh, nice music" but then when the level started it EVOLVED?! No way! Very Epic!

I also liked the idea of upgrades being a "pick two good and one bad" situtation. Although I didn't get the enemy system at first, I still liked the idea a lot later on when I got it :D

My only problem is that the "skip turn" button didn't work. At first I was frustrated because I thought it is intended that I'm always forced to place a tile but then I realized that the "skip turn" button always turns on when there is nothing to do and gets disabled when there is something to do so I assume that this is a bug and not an intended feature?

So besides this frustrating bug I loved your game!

Solid entry. The gameplay felt very polished. I was missing a few other things thought :(

Like progression or a goal. I mean I get that you're trying to hit the snooze but I guess it didn't really work for me because being able to move kind of broke the immersion for me. "Why can I move when I'm actually trying to sleep?" and so on.

The shooting enemy hat a bit too good aim in my opinion but that increased the challenge so that's alright.

2048 is a game I really like. So your addons felt like having a fresh start :D

Also your Artwork looks very cozy!

The text was a bit small but that's okay :)

Oh my god you even added the code! Thanks a bunch! That will be very useful to me in the future <3

I found the secret text >:)

This game was very enjoyable. The challenge was very solid and I really liked the wall jumps!

Idk how you did the wall jump mechanic but please teach me T.T

This was very cool and reminded me a lot of Inscryption (which is a big plus!!!)

The only thing I could criticise would be that your hand blocks the board for placing cards so I had to frantically move up my mouse each time I wanted to place a card xD

I really liked the graphical style you used for this game :D

The html version was a bit laggy but I liked it nonetheless :)

This game was very fun! I really enjoyed your soundtrack and liked all the different things you could do to lose money :D

Eventually I just resorted to gambling and answering the popups but it was still fun :)

The only thing that wasn't fun was the fact that I tried to lose my money so hard and still ended up being super rich in the end! I hate capitalism T.T

The music is pretty chill and the design is nice. I sadly got moving and shooting mixed up half the time so I didn't have that much fun at first :/

The count really be going down one way or another lol

I liked the gameplay loop :)

The collision range of the crosses might be a bit large (or I'm just too slow to move two lanes after each other xD)

The ending was a bit disappointing. I liked the interior design and the cat tho. Also liked the fnaf vibe lol

You definitely got the flash game vibe right! I felt like being on Newgrounds again <3

Very entertaining gameplay loop! Sadly the browser version was a bit laggy whenever I revealed a tarot card :(

But besides that the game was very cool. Really liked the vibe :)

Interesting concept :O

There are definitely cool ways to apply this mechanic in a bigger game :D

Also fascinating that you wrote the engine youself!

The artstyle and music are beautiful!

I don't think this was your intention but this could be a great horror game.

The absence of music during the daytime section made me feel very uncomfortable. Probably because I am scared of 2D Sprites that always look towards the player xD

I got really stressed whenever time ran out because I was afraid I'd get jumpscared or something :O

Besides that your game is well polished :D

The gameplay loop works well. I just don't see what the stamina is for. I was able to fulfill all tasks without having to eat with my son. (I only had to on the first day and when I missed a customer to discard their menu)

P.S.: I liked the secret cake

Very cute game :D

I really liked the different types of clocks xD

I was a bit confused about what the reset mechanic of the last few clocks were but just clicking on the a bunch of times worked out well :)

Are there multiple Endings? :O

I really liked the gameplay here! It reminded me of Don't Let It Starve and I really like that game :)

I also loved your custom Godot Splash screen btw. :D

Only thing I'd criticize would be that there was no real goal. But you game is incredibly polished in other aspects!

I think I noticed a bug where one of the options was a level cheaper than it should be, but that's so minimal that it did not impair my experience at all :)

I love that you have to keep track of how many bullets you have left. It adds a challenge to the horde mode that I like :)

Besides that your visual style is SPLENDID! I played a few games of you before that I really liked for different reasons. This time I like your game for the aesthetics tough :D

I had to get used to the screen borders moving at first but they definitely add well to the dreamy aesthetic.

The idea of cancelling the upgrades came to mind because some upgrades can be placed on existing belts and some have to place a new tile.

My problem was that I couldn‘t really see my playing field when deciding for the upgrades so I sometimes regretted my choice because of my field constellation :/

Maybe you could add a way for the field to be visible during the upgrading process by making the UI invisible or something?

Or like my initial suggestion make the upgrade cancellable after selecting and realizing that there isn‘t a good spot for the upgrade :)

This was such a solid concept and you implemented it quite well :D

It felt very polished. The Feedback I could give would be about the ui and generally the aesthetics. Also I was missing music :(

Keep up the good work! This was a good game!

Nice small game :)

Really liked the aesthetics with the shader and all!

The cam was a bit buggy and I was missing a skybox but all in all a great small prototype.

Good job!

This was great! Very fun game and awesome mechanic! :D

I really liked the idea of "retracting" and I loved how you made the "explaining mechanics" so fun xD

Nice Game! I like how you put multiple games into one game! Kind of reminded me of Until Then :)

I liked the gameplay loop and it was fun to find new ways to reroute the packages :)

It would've been great to use RMB to Spin the belt into the other direction because I lost a few packages through having to spin the belt three times in the wrong direction :/

I'm not sure if you AI generated the texts, but it was a bit hard to decipher right away what each upgrade did and it pulled me out of the game because I had to stop, read the text, figure out what the upgrade does and decide how to use it...
It would also be cool to be able to cancel the upgrade if you haven't placed it yet :)

Besides that: Nice game! I'm sad you used AI (because I'm personally against using it), but I can't deny that this game was a lot of fun! So good job!

I'm sorry to hear that :(

I don't really know what the issue with the linux build is. I sadly don't have a linux distribution to test the issue atm :(

I'll try to fix it and get back to you.

For the web build: What do you mean by "points upwards"? Is your mouse trapped by the game and but you can't move it?

Very solid entry! The gameplay was difficult, but not frustrating :D

Bonus points for this being a Comodore 64 Game!

Only critique i have would be that I can connect LEDs without making them line up between + and -

I liked the minigames you had to do, but I got stuck at one and was kinda softlocked :/

Great game! I love puzzle games and this one became really challenging in later levels :D

You know, for this being just a "proof of concept" it actually felt quite satisfying. I could think of numerous ways to spice up the gameplay loop, so this one definitely has potential! :D

I don't think the limitation is bad in general. But there could be a few other approaches you could use or things you could tweak

For example:

  • Make the booster energy reset after death
  • Make the booster energy recharge as fast as you use it up (or a bit slower so it can't be exploited)

For future games just think of it like "what is the limitation achieving?" and if it is possibly frustrating, think about how to make it less frustrating :)

That's how I do it at least :D

Hallo, interesting game :)

The UI is very well designed and I like your story concept. I also thought it was a lot of text. I don't mind reading, it just felt like I was reading a novel instead of playing a game :D
It is not a bad thing inherently! Just something I felt while playing :)

I think I see the vision. I like the idea of switching dimensions :D

It reminded me of a few games I played before. Especially Twisted Mask.

It was just a lot going on I guess :(

The music was way louder than the voices and I got really confused at first because the game was already going during the dialogue. I got stuck  a lot in the beginning but when I got the hang of it it was doable :D

The second level was my favorite because in the first level I could just go afk and occassionally switch the dimensions lol

I think if you give this game a bit more polish it could become really great :)

I like the story of your game :)

But the ability cooldown doesn't reset after death, so I spent most of my time waiting for the boost to recharge :(

I really liked your UI design with the electrician thingy :)

(1 edit)

I really liked this one because it gave me nostalgia for these old Pixar games I played when I was little. Idk if it was on purpose but if it was: great job!

Also nice mechanic. I just thought it would upgrade to multiple wires or more buttons or a more complicated net of connections later on, but I know how little time we had so this was totally fine :D
