Hi! Unfortunately, your game has been disqualified because it violates Rule #4 of the jam:

Your game must be made from scratch during the jam. Submitting previously developed projects is prohibited and will result in disqualification. Pre-made or purchased assets are allowed for art and sound.
We hope to see you again in future events!

Hey jammers! If you're very close to finishing your game but won't make the submission deadline, don't panic.
We can provide a late submission link that gives you up to 2 extra hours to upload your game.

To get one:

  • Join our Discord.
  • Send @Kate_Playgama a DM before the submission deadline.
  • She'll help you with the late submission process.

Please note:

  • The extension is limited to 2 hours for everyone to keep things fair.
  • We can only help if you contact us before the timer runs out. Once the deadline has passed without hearing from you, we won't be able to issue a late submission link.

Good luck with those final bug fixes!

hi! sorry you ran into this, we’re always here to help. have you joined our Discord yet?  you can talk directly with our developers and other Playgama team members there, and they’ll help answer all your questions about integration, ads, and monetization

hey! sorry for that, you can use this link https://wiki.playgama.com/playgama/bridge-sdk/setup

sure it works!

This has been fixed now, the fix has been merged. The issue was caused by a bug in the new version of Godot.
Thanks for reporting it, you're awesome!

In this post, we want to clarify our attitude on the use of AI in game development during the jam.

AI tools should be perceived specifically as a means of project implementation: they help save time on routine tasks, increase the scale of an idea, or fill a gap in team expertise. At the same time, it is fundamentally important that the foundation of the game — its gameplay, art direction, and sound design — remains the result of your own creative vision. While AI allows solo developers to compete with large teams, it’s important to remember that such technologies can also create unacceptable inequality. For example, when paid subscriptions to advanced services are used to generate a game "from start to finish" without the author's involvement. A healthy example of AI use is when a programmer generates sprites based on their own references, or when an artist delegates writing complex code to AI while putting all their effort into the strong visual concept.

The main idea of this post is that AI is a tool for reaching a new level of creativity, but the games themselves are still born in our minds. This is the approach that will allow us to develop a culture of conscious technology use that will benefit the entire industry. For the reasons described above, we encourage you to indicate on your game page where you used AI tools during development. A brief description with specific examples will suffice: "I used Nano Banana to create 2D seaweed sprites."

Good luck!

We consider each winner a partner and strive to efficiently publish their game across multiple web platforms to maximize monetization. To facilitate this, integrating our SDK is required.  Our SDK requires only a small initial setup, granting access to monetization on numerous popular web platforms. We've worked hard to make the installation process as simple and intuitive as possible. For most major game engines, we provide plugins that further streamline SDK installation and customization. You can follow our step-by-step documentation to install the SDK. Dedicated documentation is available for Unity, Godot, GameMaker, Defold, Construct 3, and GDevelop. For other engines, refer to the Core (Plain JS) section.

You don't need to customize all of the SDK functionality within the jam! All it takes is to implement it at a basic level.  The basic level includes Required Steps in the Intro documentation section for your engine. If you want to use additional advanced SDK functionality within the jam, you can do that as well. The documentation describes simple steps to set up features such as: Leaderboards, Achievements, In-Game Purchases, Social Interactions.  But if you don’t have time to fully customize them during the jam — no worries, we’ll help you with that later. What matters most is that the basic integration is in place.

If you need any help with SDK setup, join our Discord—we’re happy to assist!

Hey jammer! We have a Discord channel where it’s easier to communicate and get noticed, so make sure to join us there!
We’re excited to welcome talented creators who want to team up and make cool games.
Good luck, everyone! 🎮🔥

Hey devs and jammers!

We’ve received a lot of submissions for Puzzle Sobbing Jam, and the games turned out to be way more diverse and interesting than we expected :sadCat:

Because of that, our jury needs a bit more time to properly play and review everything.
Final results will be published on February 25, after 14:00 CET. Thanks for your patience and for all the great games you’ve submitted!

this jam doesn’t include a community vote, the results are decided by the jury only, so there’s no room for messing around with votes and ratings

Hey everyone!
We have reviewed all current submissions and left comments under some of them regarding serious violations of the jam rules.
You still have some time to correct these issues. Take your time and good luck!
