I really liked such simple pirates games when I was a kid, but I didn't know about the one you mentioned. For this jam I was experimenting much - also with the visuals. I'm glad you like it ^^

Selling gives you less money cuz u get rep for that too.

The goal was to SEAL the Goddess so if you managed to do it - she's sealed. The rest depends on the player's interpretation ;)

Glad you like it ^^

Thank You! For the bad endings - one is if you let the Goddess escape (need to keep losing vs sea creatures) and the second one is when the reputation drops to 0, which is taken from you for losing the ship battles and sacrificing men by using artifacts on the Goddess

Thank You! You are the gentleman if you haven't trying to click on them ;P

It's like Leloup200754 said, but you also lose respect when lose against other ships - more if they are lower tier than you

Thank You! I'm glad You like it. Great that the rum isn't expired cuz I needed it after making this xD

Thank You! I was testing on Opera GX and it worked good too

Yeah that kinda my lack of experience. I didn't know what to expect and how to build a game for html so i wasted a lot of time trying to change things cuz the game was too heavy. Glad You like it

Thank You! Each artifact can be dropped in different ways. I wrote a hint on the game page cuz i saw people are struggling with finding the last one

Thanks! I'll be posting there soon too ^^

The game has really immersive vibe, the music and the aesthetic works absolutely amazing. Combat is challenging. I personally like that slow motion everyone hates. It gives the weight and impact to those hits. It took me a bit of time to finish the last fight, i really had to lock in xD I would like to see a bit more variations of losing tho, especially at the end.

Overall "The Smart Dame Always Knots Twice" is really good and it's top tier of this jam for sure. Probably my favourite one
