The AI is expensive bro 😭

I suggest farming characters you can complete in a single session based on their number of objectives & difficulty. Leaderboard stats are also helpful here in giving you a ballpark of how many msgs you might need for a dude.. estimate about +50% more than the minmaxers if you are not terrible at the game. 

You can also chill around and collect messages from streaks (that alone is giving away a LOT in a day). 

And  once you reach lvl 5 you have full access to the character workshop and you can create & publish your own characters, which, if popular, nets you a TON of in game cash and msgs. For instance if you trend at #1 as an author, you get +80 msgs in the next daily reset. You also receive $$$ based on how many times people have interacted with your character. 

There are a ton of systems that incentivize contributing to the game, or being good at it in general (getting a high leaderboard position gives a fat cash bonus, etc).  

That's the lever through which I balance costs and allowances for phish. Its not a dating sim or an open RP chat-bot but a (community-driven) erotic puzzle game, and you can essentially get a lot further a lot faster once you get good at it 💪

Yeah, that's a recent issue introduced by some itch update. They're not going to do anything about it, so please use the google login option, or just go to the discord to get an alternative link to play the game.

Regarding the daily messages, these are calculated based on API costs. 

Anyone can see for themselves how much the AI costs here: https://api-docs.deepseek.com/quick_start/pricing and I've written explanations it the discord as well.

🐱phish is in fact the only app to my knowledge to offer any amount of free access to an uncensored AI model of this size and cost.

That's because its designed to be a short daily puzzle game that you interact with when you have some time to kill, at least at its current iteration.

Don't feel bad. A lot of people have rage quit from that character :^)

Regarding OF creators, I do intend to do something like that if the game becomes more popular. Its pretty niche currently.

You're right to assume that finding the right type of media for each scenario is the biggest bottleneck and dictates what can be made. 

As it concerns the content of the game, I have a very specific vision of what I want to create and a long list of character ideas to work on :)

But I'm also in the process of building a character creator so that anyone can make their own scenarios and share it with others.

I'm thinking of turning it into an android app (also for desktop) in the future 🤔

The limited messages are both a game design choice and a necessity due to AI cost. The game is meant to be approached like a daily "social" puzzle. It is possible to complete most/all characters with your daily message quota but REALLY difficult 😈

Hey! You should ask for help in the discord. There's some actual elite level experts in there. You'll get many ideas.

That can happen sometimes. Usually you need to get him to admit it more explicitly. Or might have better luck trying tomorrow on a fresh conversation. I am trying to fix these issues over time so in the future the AI will be more consistent.

There will be opportunities to play archived characters in the future 👍 (right now only for patreon)

The access code is a lie but I aim to eventually allow people to help me test WIP characters with it, cause it takes a lot of iteration and time interacting with the AI to get a character to a good state.
