Np, the noclip is kind of fun because the way you built this you can jump into a different date if you control your fall. (although it seems to send me back in time so I have to all my work again Dx)

Also I found if you hang out with a body juuust inside a room (blocking 1 tile past the doorway), no one will enter that room due to how pathfinding works...so you can try and use that to time things. Though, that wasn't my intention. 😅

Thanks! I'm glad you appreciated the details!

Thanks! I agree. An accidental mechanic did "emerge", since you can kill them while holding a body, which leaves the other body blocking areas...completely unintentional, but it makes for some interesting tactics.

Cute little game! It was also fun reading your itch.io page. I hope you're not still locked in the basement?

Not sure if it's just me (and my eyesight) but the (1st level center) font was very tiny on my screen. Luckily it didn't matter much.

Thanks! Next time you can try attacking the cops too, heh. I forgot to restrict certain actions while dragging a body so it can also be cheesed...

Thanks, that's pretty much exactly what happened! :P

I couldn't tell what to do but as I was exploring near the desk opposite mine against the wall I noclipped out of the office. Escape successful! I did play it a second time and got much farther, feeling silly because the clue was in the name, haha.

I enjoyed this game. Quite polished, I was pleasantly surprised when I was able to rework my paths. I wished there was a litttle bit more payoff at the end, though, but I had fun working the brainmeats.

Thanks!

I love how atmospheric this game is, the rain sounds, the clock sounds. And yeah, the nostalgic playstation era aesthetic.

This feels like quite a fleshed out JRPG mechanic. I love the art, one feedback I have is that the background is a bit too vibrant and clashes with the characters making them hard to make out, would be nice if it was more Paper-marioesque where you could easily tell everything apart. All in all, great job!

Nice enjoyable game! It has a few bugs, some of which already got mentioned, and sometimes when the enemies move left (and you're to the right of them), touching them won't kill you.

Thanks!

Glad you figured it out! Agreed, it could've been just a bit easier. 😅

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it!

Nice game! The labor of love on the character art shows through. It does have a pretty nostalgic playstyle.

Thanks! Originally I was thinking of doing pixel art (ran out of time) but I'm not really an artist so this probably worked out for the best. Perhaps it makes it a bit more fun to "imagine" the party.

I like the style and the movement mechanics feel very polished (though the levels could use a bit more polish).

I loved the Max Payne style story setup. The abilities and animations are also quite fun. This game kind of sets up its own distinctive style in the intro, which doesn't quiiiite carry over into the game (expected a bit more of a 'dark' vibe/environment). Are you (the creator), the MC? :O

This was fun to play! Aesthetics (and some gameplay) reminded me of a game my friend made, called We Are Doomed.

I like the music and the concept was easy enough to grok. After a while I wished I could drag and drop the numbers as an option, since moving around gets a bit tedious. Overall enjoyable and did give my brain a bit of exercise, nice game!

Thanks! I thought about leaving some more hints about the hiding, but it would take away from the "exploration" aspect a little bit, so I didn't. I'll leave a little hint here: apartment corners.

This is how to do it, make sure to set the embed options: /docs/creators/html5

You could probably synergize those two powerups by changing purr-tection to a shield that generates a one-use charge each time by pressing down for 1.5s.

The footstep sounds still play if you press A/D on the end screen. A peek into a quick hack? :)

Looks like the ghost flushed for you, how polite.
