To @AnimeEDM, so sorry, I accidentally deleted your post, asking about the AI system and the older game I made. CakeMix is the first game that used AI chat, but like I say, I'm not going to work on that part much at all moving forward. So if the AI isn't for you, that's cool, there will be other interactions available as soon as I can get them in.

It is basically that right now, yes. I am working on a new part of the game that will bring more interaction to the characters, and soon I will be putting the AI system on the back burner for a while while I work in that new direction.
The character creator is not functional in this current demo but I am working on putting out a new demo that might have some of it in there to try out.
Sorry I just saw this now; I've been super busy making the next update.
I'll be updating the demo soon and will take a look at this. Is your headset turned on when you start CakeMix? It's not been a VR game for a long time and shouldn't be booting into VR. The VR code is still in the base, because I might bring it back at some point, but right now it should not be loading it in.
In any case, like I say, I'm going to update this demo and I'll see if there might be something I can fix with that. Thanks for letting me know!
I'm sorry to hear that. If you open CakeMix, then go to Settings/Advanced, look for the button that opens your local data folder. Inside that folder you'll see a Player.log file. Email that file to ripenedpeach[@]gmail.com (remove the brackets), and I'll take a look and get back to you with a solution.
I'm going to turn off comments for this, because every two hours or so there's the same spam post for the same spam site, from different spam accounts. I keep reporting and deleting, but it's getting to be a little much.
I do hope you enjoy the demo, and I hope to see you over on my Patreon. Thanks so much for the response so far!
The Character Creator is all player driven right now. Sliders, buttons, etc.
The AI is aware of various character features (hair style, skin/hair color, body type, etc.) and will use those in stories when it wants to. I plan to add some things where a player can change the character's appearance with AI.
There's an experimental one right now you can try. Try typing this in the input box:
>breastsize 30
Change the number for various breast sizes.
But yeah I'm thinking of more ways to play around with it like that.
Thanks! If you go to Settings/Advanced, there's a button to open the local data folder. When that opens, look for the llm folder. It's in there. You can also load your own LLM from anywhere on your hard drive, if you don't want to use the defaultlocation/llm.
I'm thinking about adding male models, but right now it's focused on females. It's a possibility, though.
Thanks for the report. I don't have an AMD card to test on, but looking into it I see that yeah, deleting/renaming the hip folder moves things to Vulcan, so I'll look into maybe a message in game that gives instructions for that or something more elegant if possible. In the mean time I'll make a note on the game's page here. Glad to hear it runs well once that's taken care of, though.
Interesting idea to go back in history. Not sure if the smaller LLMs could keep up with that but I like the idea. I'll give it some thought.
Thanks again for the report!
Taking a closer look at the errors you posted, I'm going to guess that you're using an integrated Intel graphics card, which typically is not powerful enough for some games. I'll take a closer look though if you can send the output log.
Do you have an NVidia or other graphics card in your computer? If you DO have a better graphics card, please see this page for info on how to set FLSM (and other games) to use the better gaming card when launched: https://www.techadvisor.co.uk/how-to/pc-components/how-set-default-graphics-card-3612668/
I'm currently working on a patch to try to make it work with Intel cards, so if you want to wait a day or so (or maybe even later today) then I hope to have that ready.
Thanks for your patience!
When you are on the main screen, does the version say "1.059.031"? If not, then it's not the newest version. If you could send me an output log that would be great.
To send an output_log: Please open Windows Explorer and find the location where you installed FLSM, which should be the "steamapps/common/FLSM" folder. Next, find the folder inside that location called "FLSM_Data" and double click to enter it. Inside that folder you will find a file named "output_log.txt" or simply "output_log" on some computer setups. If you could attach that file to your reply to this email, I will take a look.
