*negative or even neutrally-toned comments will elicit a Liam Neeson in Taken-esque response from us.

My game is called Fingers & Thumbs. It involves two players, each of which only needs a fist, a finger, and a thumb to compete.

Hello. I'm a new game designer who's put together a fun, fast-paced game with the help of his son. My account name is a play on our surname and relationship. It's not hard to work out!

I love playing games with my boy and have a couple of ideas for further games that we can develop together.

Hello. My game, Fingers & Thumbs, doesn't seem to fit nicely into any category. It's primarily a physical game (being that it's a take on rock, paper, scissors - or more closely Morra for game history buffs) but it's not a wacky, party game. There's also a game board and an element of strategy involved. And yet it's not deep or filled with lore.

Can anyone advise on the best sub-group for it? I wish I could find it a suitable home!!

Done, thank you.

F&T game board

Fingers & Thumbs is a fast-paced, fist-to-fist family game that’s sneakily strategic.

Players or teams go fist-to-fist in a series of quick-fire finger duels, where each win takes them a step closer to the finish line.

So far, so simple… but there’s a couple of curveballs to keep things interesting!

Throw in a Power Thumb in an attempt to secure an advantage – play it successfully to move two steps forward or send your opponent back two steps.

Or take advantage of the Switcheroo Star. Get it right and you can try to lose... to win!

Fingers & Thumbs is a modern take on the ancient game of Morra where each round of the game is unique from the last – making it ripe for replaying!
