Thank you for taking time out your day to play my game AND leave a comment. Feedback helps a lot.

I do agree with you on the aspect of sprinting and the runtime. Those were both elements I wanted to expand on but to ensure I actually released this game instead of putting it in unfinished project hell I had to omit the sprint feature as well as other aspects.

I hope to improve with my next game and who knows maybe one day I will return to this with more stuff added as my skills as a developer increases.

The art was accomplished by the lovely Star-The-Skeleton!

I've had a few people encounter that bug. In a possible future update (no promises just yet) I'll try to iron that out.

Hello!

Yes, there are three endings. But two of those endings share the same game over screen. Sorry for the confusion.

also thank you so much for playing! It really does mean a lot to me!

Thank you so much for the feedback!

I'll take your advice about advertising the endings into account. I'm just really happy I could achieve an unnerving experience!

Firstly, you have to decide what type of emotion you want the player to feel towards the end. Remorse? Rage? Nostalgia? Morbidity? Depressed? Accelerated? To me, the best way to write horror is to try and figure out what exactly you want the audience to feel after its over.

This is why psychological horror works for people more than your typical blood and guts cause there is nothing more frightening than the human mind on  the brink of collapse.

Mainly I'd go on Youtube and look at videos ranting about modern horror not just in games but media in general. From there you can reverse engineer what you need.

Here's a good one:

This game has inspired me in ways that no other ever will again. The visuals to the story to the music. It's simple compared to the complexities of other indie projects, but there is an aspect of true childhood ignorance and helplessness that I have yet to see be captured in the way that this game does!
