Hi Armored Moose! I was just enjoying the youtube video you have linked. That looks fun, trying to target all the enemies as they come at you, and the characters look cool!
I wanted to introduce myself. I do freelance game audio, and I immediately started imagining how I could contribute with music that instantly identifies as Echoes of Kyria. Like the moment you start Skyrim, hear the theme, and become epic! I do sound design and help with implementation as well.
If you have any interest, I would love to chat with you about the audio half of the experience - crafting an aesthetic that feels very Echoes of Kyria and utilizing the aesthetic to help the players slip into a state of immersion.
Either way, keep up the great work! I'm looking forward to seeing how Echoes of Kyria continues to develop. Please reach out anytime, even if it's just for advice. I enjoy participating in the community and paying it forward where I can.
Kind Regards,

That was fun! Thanks for the demo! I have not played anything quite like that. I got better on my second attempt.
To introduce myself, I do freelance game audio. As I was playing this, I found myself wanting to be sucked in by the audio the way I am when I play Tetris Effect. It has a similar visual aesthetic to me, where it immediately puts me into a trance! If you are interested, I would love to chat about where you envision the audio going as you continue to develop Luminaris. I can imagine ways to implement the audio so it ratchets up the intensity at times and then rewards the player for locking in and doing well.
Anyway, you're making a cool game. Thanks for sharing! Feel free to reach out anytime, even if it's just for advice.
Have a great weekend!

Hey, I was just checking out your demo. Realizing I should have healed Whiskers first before fighting in the dungeon lol. You are making a fun game and I am already intrigued about what Whiskers skills will develop into! I love turn-based rpgs.
I just wanted to introduce myself. I do freelance game audio, and this is exactly the type of project I prefer, since turn-based rpgs are my first love in gaming. If you are interested, I would love to help you craft a defining sonic identity for Voxel Beasts. I do music, sound design, and implementation. My favorite game composer is Nubuo Uematsu, if that gives you a feel for my taste.
Either way, keep up the great work and feel free to hit me up any time, even if it's just for advice.
Have a great weekend!

The pleasure is mine :) I'm glad I could make your day. I know the feeling when you work hard on something and someone else appreciates it. I look forward to seeing how Abracademia develops.
You can check out my website if you'd like. It could use a little updating, but I at least just adding the audio drama I've been working on, TV - The Musical

Feel free to reach out anytime, even if only for advice. I enjoy making friends in the industry and I try to pay it forward where I can.
Aw, that's very kind of you. My apologies, I didn't see that you already have a composer in your credits. I'm not trying to dislodge anyone.
I'm actually working on a very cool game right now, the third expansion for Interstellar Space: Genesis. I'm trying, however, to get better at reaching out to people before finishing a project instead of waiting until after lol. I can honestly say though that out of every game I found today to introduce myself, yours was hands down my favorite! You're going to do great 😊
Anyway, feel free to reach out anytime regardless. I love making friends in this industry.
Take care!

Hi HSTopaz! I just came across Scarred By Heaven for the first time. Cool game! It takes me back to my Streets of Rage days, except with monsters and gore. What a fun concept!
I enjoyed watching some of the gameplay on your Youtube channel. It looks smooth and really feels like an arcade game. I'm writing because I do freelance game audio. Are you at the stage in development yet that you have time to consider audio in depth? I would love to chat about it when you have time. I can envision the aesthetic in different ways, like a fully modern audio aesthetic with hyper-realistic sounds, like the gore of The Walking Dead with a Bear McCreary type soundtrack, or an enhanced retro version, with a classic arcade aesthetic that gets a modern polish on it for crispness and music like the theme of the Ken stage on Street Fighter 2. Just some ideas. If you're interested, I can help with the music, sound design, and implementation to guide the audio half of the player experience into something really immersive that is unmistakenly Scarred By Heaven.
Either way, keep up the great work! You ae making a fun game!

Explosive Chasers looks fun! I was enjoying the chaos. Thanks for sharing your work. Are you at the point in development that you're starting to think about audio assets yet? I do freelance game audio and if you're open to it, I would love to be involved in helping the audio half to become as immersive as it can be, with hyper-realistic sfx and original energetic music with a modern aesthetic. I would also enjoy helping with implementation, like adding some randomness to the police sirens and capping the number that can play at a time, to add variety and have the chaos be controlled chaos :)
Either way, keep up the great work! Thanks again!

Thanks for the demo! The character and environment art is lovely, and the gameplay, placing your characters on the board and moving them, activating their special skills, waiting on cooldowns, is very cool! It's a unique and pleasant aesthetic. Really lovely.
I am writing because I do freelance game audio. Bastion Heart is a beautiful game. Is the audio that is in it final, or is it placeholder? I would love to contribute on the audio half if that is something you are thinking about. I do music, sound design, and implementation. In my opinion, shaping the audio toward the Unicorn Overlord aesthetic could fit really nicely. Just an idea.
Either way, keep up the great work! I can tell this is a game that people will enjoy. Congrats!

Nice work! I tried out the Dead Valley demo and had fun slaying some zombies and collecting their blood samples. I wanted to check it out because I do freelance game audio. Are you making this in Unity? The audio cues about where the zombies are were effective and helped me know where to look to find them before they reached me. Nice work on the implementation there.
If you're interested, I would love to help shape the audio half of the experience. With some crisp sound design and detailed, yet unobtrusive music, I think I could help ease the player into deeper immersion pretty quickly, where it really feels like the scene is happening around them. If you're interested in having a chat about it, reach out anytime.
Either way, keep up the great work! I think a lot of people will really get into Dead Valley.
Take care,

Hello! I enjoyed checking out 4 Weeks To Stardom in the browser. I can tell you have poured yourself into it. The art direction is very defined and pleasant to my taste, and the story will definitely draw people in who want to experience what that kind of life is like.
I wanted to introduce myself because I do freelance game audio and as I was playing, I started to become inspired about what could be possible creating legit original pop music for the main character. Then that music could be used in different ways in the different menu screens, so it culminates into an immersive musical experience. Like if the character was Taylor Swift, for example, and then the music laying while selecting how to spend your stamina was a looping instrumental version of Long Story Short. I think it could add another dimension that makes her feel even more real. Just an idea.
Anyway, if that's something that interests you, feel free to reach out anytime to chat. Either way, keep up the great work!

Hi A2C3! I was curious and tried out your demo. The first wave went smoothly. In the second wave, things got hairy pretty quickly lol! It's a fun game! Next time, I'll have to make sure I have coverage a little farther from base.
Anyway, I wanted to introduce myself because I do freelance game audio. If you are interested, I could help you shape the audio half of the experience to feel more modern and immersive. Unless I'm mistaken, I think I get what you are going for: a futuristic feel that combines mechanical, electrical, and electronic elements. I'm not sure if you are looking to go retro futuristic, or modern hyper-realistic like the Hollywood style. I'd be happy to have a conversation about it if that's something on your radar. I'm confident if you brought me on board to focus on music, sfx, and implementation, I could help you draw the players into the immersion in a really satisfying way. I have worked in Godot before. As a Reaper DAW user, I align with the small footprint Godot mentality.
Either way, keep up the great work! Bastion Grid is a cool game and I think a lot of people are going to enjoy it.
Kind Regards,

What a cool game! I have not played a game like this before. After trying it out, I have the feeling that after some time, I could get a good grasp on the mechanics and in game economy and start doing well.
I am writing because I do freelance game audio - music, sound design, implementation. I would love an opportunity to help you shape the audio half of the experience of Project Ironhaul. I can already hear the clanking of the wheels on the track and the sound of the engines in my mind's ear! If you're ready to start thinking about the audio aesthetic you want, hit me up anytime; I'd love to chat about it :)
Either way, cool game! Keep up the great work!

This is adorable. I'm really enjoying the music and sound design direction you took, and it comes across very cozy and inviting. I wanted to introduce myself because I do freelance game audio, and I was drawn in by what I heard right away. Who is the composer? Those piano flourishes are fantastic.
If you could use any audio help as you're getting it across the finish line, please let me know. I would be delighted to contribute. Either way, best of luck with launch! I can tell this has been a labor of love and I think and I think people are going to love Abracademia in return.
Kind Regards,

You are writing some excellent prose. I was enjoying the emotional complexity as I was reading. If you are interested, I do freelance game audio and specialize in the type of musical emotional complexity that gives a different meaning to how lyrics feel on their own. I haven't used Twine before, but from what I understand, musical layers can be faded in and out based on what happens in the story. That could provide some audible feedback to the decisions that players make. Just an idea. Reach out anytime. Keep up the great work!

That was cool. I played a little through the browser to check it out. It definitely gave me the creeps, like i couldn't see if something was going to be right next to me! I do freelance game audio. If you want, we could get the sfx to come across a little more hyper-realistic, so it really sounds like everything is closer than what feels safe. Also, some low key unsettling music could make the experience scarier. Feel free to pick my brain about it anytime. Keep up the great work!

That is pretty funny. I just gave it a shot through the browser. I do freelance game audio. If you wanted to do something interactive with the audio, we could have the music get sleepier at a different tiredness thresholds, or get more aggressive at different anger thresholds. Just an idea. Anyway, fun game :) Keep up the great work!

I do freelance game audio and wanted to reach out to see if you need any more hands on deck with the audio moving forward. Feel free to reach out anytime.
