In version 5.0.0, which language will be available?

(1 edit)

It was difficult for me at first too, but my profile picture is a Photoshop composition I created for a contest.

Regarding other projects: since 2024, I’ve been working on a new project—I even set up a page where I planned to host it—and I’m currently trying to get in touch to see about merging the projects.

Up until version 0.4.4, I had more control over the code, but as other projects progress, I need to speed this one up; so, my main focus now is delivering something that people can actually use!

That's great—join the Discord community.

Ah, you might be referring to the profile background cover; there’s already an answer about that here!

Hi again. Regarding errors: if you could please post them in the GitHub issues section so I can verify them, that would be great. The project is still evolving, so there are many features that aren't available yet.

As for the AI, the reason there are so many errors is precisely because I haven't used it that much—but that will change soon.

P.S. If you're encountering compilation errors, there is a comment explaining the required configuration, or you can check the README page on GitHub.

Hi, the only two graphics here are the ones for selecting project creation; I'll change them eventually—they're just there so it doesn't look empty!

I'm happy to know that there are more people excited about this besides me. I've learned a lot throughout the development process.

The idea is to have a Linux version, but for that I need to create an environment for it, and there's still a lot to do, so for now I'll only develop on Windows until I have a good version! I hope to have more news soon!

Adjusted, thanks!

Try version 0.4.3 Alpha. Install devkitPro normally and adjust your system environment variables, as it's likely pointing to `/opt` instead of the actual installation folder. I plan to add more instructions about this to the `readme.md` later, but for now, please take a look at the installation section.

Thanks for the quick response; as mentioned in another comment below, it was indeed used to assist during the application's development process—I'll make the adjustment.

Install and Build - Ok

GBA Studio 0.4.2 Alpha

Hey everyone, I ran a test on a clean machine!

Here’s what’s possible: creating and saving changes to the project! I still need to work on the build process to figure out the right instructions to get it running correctly.

Excuse me, but are you referring to the covers of my games or backgrounds? If so, the images are indeed AI-generated to be processed in Photoshop (the goal wasn't to work with cover art). All the games were made for Victor Iemini's GameJan. The GBA Studio engine has been under development since the end of 2024 and this is my autoral image art. My developer skills are really in Java, so it was a big challenge start this project. Although I've learned a lot, there's still much to do, and the use of AI is increasing more and more, which helps me a lot. If you have skills to contribute, I'd be happy to have you analyze the software!

Download available!

☺️

I'm still working on getting it released so that it's at least possible to have a character walk around the environment, but it's already possible to create loading screens.

Obrigado por jogar e quem sabe ainda teremos novos jogos este ano =)

It's great to see the block's priority. But I'm still not going to update so I can finish my game on the previous version!

Hello, I'm very glad that you're interested in the game.

I hadn't thought about creating physical cards, but it seems interesting!

The game is still in development, but I'll get in touch with you!
