Thanks for playing! I’ll check out your game in a bit!

Thanks for the high rating and this review! Yeah, the rat artwork turned out very misleading, sorry :’)

Also I’ve seen the yellow outline visual bug with the whirlpool, but an actual game breaker is a first D: We’ll look into this!

Thank you! :’)

<3

Haha, glad you had a blast! Extra glad you loved our whirlpools!! :D

Thanks for the review! We’re glad you found a playstyle that suits you best!

About your suggestion, I think this was how it initially functioned, then we changed it to how it is now. You do make a good point though and I will bring this up in case we come back to work on this after the jam ends!

Thanks for playing!

Thank you! <3

Thanks for playing and some kind words! :D

Good suggestions across the board! So happy you enjoyed the game :)

Thanks! <3

I WAS SO CLOSE!!! T-T image.png

This is a really cool game! I was sweating with the unsettling music and all the micromanagement I had to do :’D

Thanks a lot! I will go check your entry now :p

Thank you for playing! Yeah, the deck-thinning mechanic suggestion is amongst the more popular ones and honestly we fully agree!

Glad you had a great time with our lil game :)

OMG thank you! I was the artist and you just made me blush x)

O, nice! Glad you had a pleasant time :)

Thank you for the review! Yeah, softlocks really are a problem, sorry for that! :’)

Thanks!

High praise! Thanks for playing :D A lot of thought was put into the music by our lovely musicians, and the rotating effect was actually an accidental find when my tweener broke xD

Thanks a lot! Yeah I’m still a bit overwhelmed myself x)

Glad you enjoyed it! <3

Oh my god, this is so wholesome!!! Thank you so much for the review, glad you both had a good time! :D You’re right about the deck-bloat in the later stages of the game. If we are to come back to this after the jam, the rewards system would overgo an overhaul.

Interesting progression, I must say, the Vein Cracker augment turned it into a completely different type of game immediately haha.

I think what the game could really benefit from is more feedback to the player. Some sound effects for unlocking new augments, or activating them (I could not tell if any speed increases were actually applying or not), and most importantly to help understand which rocks are more dense and whatnot.

Still had a nice little time with this one

Glad you had a good time! Thanks for the review :)

Cute lil platformer! I don’t think I’d ever refuse the double jump upgrade lol. Two gripes I had with this were both about the moving platforms : sometimes it’s hard to tell where you’re supposed to go when they move off-screen + sometimes they don’t carry you so you just slip off :(

also, cool pineapple image.png

Thanks for playing!

Theme interpret nicely! Unfortunately my browser struggled to handle the game at the start + a few stutters mid-game which caused some routing issues :’)

Thank you very oh-so much! Stoked you had a blast despite the balancing issues <3

Thanks for the review! Yeah we overdid it on the amount of tiles you receive per-level, so it gets out hand relatively quickly :p

Also when the card rotation idea came to mind, it was immediately a keeper, I probably spent an hour just spinning the tiles around xd

High praise :O Glad you enjoyed it at the fullest!

Thank you a lot! We are contemplating this :D

Awh, that’s so sweet! :) Yeah, we didn’t implement the in-level softlock prevention, but you can always quit to the menu and press Continue to reset the level!

First of all, thank you! The caused confusion is on me :’) Rats and Minotaurs see to the sides, despite the artwork showing them facing forward.

Glad to hear you enjoyed it! We took inspo from another tile-connecting board game, with a darker theme called The Night Cage :)

That’s very sweet of you to say! Glad you had a good time :)

Thanks for the comment! Yeah, covering all paths was a deliberate choice on our end, sorry :P Implementing the layered music was super satisfying!

Oh! For Special Tiles there wasn’t that much discourse as the effects landed to be somewhat comparable to each other right off the bat. I do remember arguing with tarakanoed about Smithy, saying it might be a bit too good, and there were doubts about the Windmill, as it’s the only meta card in the cycle.

For Monsters, however, we were opting into more and more complex designs with each one (Beholder is one of the survivors of that period), until ultimately someone pushed for a batch of simple guys to keep it easier to understand.

Dark Whirlpool for one caused a lot of pain to our programmers, to me, the artist (drawing spirals is hard), and to all of us collectively during playtesting as they would just mess up our test environments. It’s grown to be a love-hate relationship in the end xd

Glad you enjoyed our lil game!

Glad to hear it! <3 We may or may not polish the game a little once the jam ends, too

Thank you for playing! It’s amazing to hear it’s grown on you with time :D You’re right about the abundance of tiles later on, we really didn’t balance that properly.

Also yess, LOVE Mineshafts until you’re forced to put them horizontally… xD

Awwh, ty! <3
