Thank you for the kind words! This is my first jam solo, and I don't normally make platformers, but I was definitely hoping to add some more juice/"feel good" to the controls. I might later on, I wanna change the gears to implement a mechanic where the gears at the end are a little bit more like I had planned lol. <33 :>

lmfao thank you, you're a sweetheart. lol.~ I try to stick to the rules, game dev means a lot to me fr lol~

Thank you so much! I always default to arrow keys and z, x, and c along with controller-supported controls as it is the easiest way to map controller inputs, and because it's what Toby Fox usually does. :>

What is the license on the open-source?

Cool game! Interesting concept! <3 :>

I have a game called "Stark Penitentiary" that I developed in high-school everyday with all the freetime that i had back then, but I recently privated it as I've been remaking and redeveloping the game. Would that project be something allowed yall think?

Does this use anything that isn't under a CC0 license?

hehee :3 <3 tytyy

It's not a bad system at all, in fact I figured that I might change it around and use it for an reupdated/reuploaded rewrote polished public remake build for "Stark Penitentiary" a prison game that I've developed for years, and talked about. I'm currently in the process of trying to remake it, along with finishing a second game that has two chapters, so I have my work cut out for me. Something like this would help a lot! I'd include a what is SP video for you to watch for context on what I'd like to do, but I don't want my post deleted or to come off as someone who just wants to self-promote their stuff. much love, hope you fix this issue so I can hopefully use it and ill be here if you wanna talk about it. :>

It has to do with how you're scaling the images

This is good, but there runs into a problem when the character's pixels aren't always the same scale consistently. :<

Hey! You commented on one of my really early renditions of a big passion project of mine, and I wanted to comment and say that I changed my name and I'm still cooking. Aside from that, I checked this game out because after looking at your profile, it jumped out at me. I love the color pallette and the silly little ghost guys. This game has a really cool vibe, and I think you nailed the spirituality of it all. I love the environmental portion of game development. Have a good one! <3~
