What players often mistake is that "new record" isn't a personal record, it's referring to the current round. So if you want the biggest fish to win the round, that is what you are looking for. The ui problem is a personal resolution issue, change that and it will fit right. I'm actually unfamiliar with most of the technical issues you are describing, works fine on my pc. Also worth noting is this game was remade 3 separate times, once in 2D so maybe give that a try if you enjoyed this one, its similar but mechanically different due to being 2D. Also for what it's worth, I'm a solo dev doing literally everything so SOME bugs are bound to occur, seeing as I have no access to a QA team to vet my work. Actually taking that into account, it's honestly kinda amazing it exist at all, considering most people these days seem to struggle producing a single sentence ( you've seen it, you know ).
