Some more feedback on the file editor. A line delete would be useful, something like Symbol shift + D perhaps?

Also, if you could add support for < and > characters too, I could write simple HTML pages just for fun with it. And perhaps a Symbol shift + I or T to tabulate (i.e., two or four spaces).

Either way, it's useful enough for me to work with, so thanks :-)

Thanks for the new version with extra characters. Some small bugs still to resolve: when you enter a line with has more than 65 characters and you press enter, the same text is shown on the "new line" - press enter many times and move back up and the copy disappears. I am using (currently) a Sizif 512 clone with divMMC built in, and am using the Pentagon machine settings.

Hey, that'd be great. Thanks!

Hi, if you can improve your text editor, I could write my review of Bow Commander on the text editor. I'll need full punctuation but single and double quotes, and semi-colon as a minimum.

Have you made any games for the unexpanded Sinclair Timex TS1000?

160! This is an amazing achievement

Thanks.

OpenSE BASIC community · Created a new topic SiZif 512

I now have a Sinclair clone with the oper of OpenSE BASIC; hopefully I can make something with it. Perhaps a simple text adventure?

This is a fun puzzle game that I need to load again.

Another great issue!

Thanks for taking the time to read it :-)

We can't wait for your upcoming project. Keep up the great work.

Thanks for your game!

Great little game, thanks.

Excellent fast-paced arcade game. Great work Rob.

When I load this game, I see a lot of ULA snow. I am using a Sinclair 128K + to load it.

I really liked using a QL when I had one. A shame that I don't anymore.

Congratulations on this game getting a coveted Break Space "Ace" award in issue five :-)

Thanks for your games :-)

I'm glad you enjoyed the features and the issue!

I've asked this question in the past, and then I joined the team from issue two onwards.

May I ask if you would make a donation to either Mind in your local area, or a suicide prevention charity, if you like my reviews. A small donation of £1 is very welcome and could help support someone in a crisis.

I'm glad you're enjoying the mag. I enjoy helping to write some of it too.

Good start to this project; I see that you have all of the nuts and bolts in place for the game engine, minus the enemy sprites and sprite movements.

One suggestion is to have a Classic and New mode, as follows:

Classic is the same platform lay out per level

New has different platform lay out per level

I had no idea that Old School Gaming website had been revived. Enjoy my review from at least 10 years ago: https://oldschool-gaming.com/metal-dust/

Also, RIP Jason Kelk. We still miss you.

It's a very good game too.

Hey, I just found out about this. Are you looking for some (free) contributions to your magazine?

It's a great game, thanks!

This might not be my best game of 2025, but it's certainly in the top 1.

I don't know about Spectaculator, but I can try it on The Spectrum from RGL at some point and check if there are issues on that technology.

I suspect the issue is Fuse and Mac though

This is a very good game, but I seem to get caught in the scenery a bit and need to reset the emulator. I'm using Fuse on Mac.

More Snake games please. The editor loves them.

Like Thrust but feels more like an arcade game. Good work.

"I never knew there was so much in it..."

It was quite a bit of work; I managed just over 20 reviews, though Mpk wins with 25 reviews *and* all of the editing, layout, proofing etc...

I seem to be unable to enter the castle.

Very good, I like it!
