Thanks for the kind words ;) It does seem a bit like the forum mainly promotes games by "legendary" developers, and some of those "legends" take issue with the popularity of other games (God forbid, games that are free)—because, after all, they’re legends and make the best games... Right? That’s why we need to push these people to the forefront, no matter what it takes...
I don’t want to deal with this anymore; it’s toxic, and I don’t want to deal with toxic stuff. Let them pat each other on the back about how great they are… I’ll just keep programming what I enjoy and couldn’t care less about some higher-up interests.
I have to say that I am genuinely disappointed by the way this whole situation has been handled.
I could have accepted the deletion of my post if there had been a reasonable explanation for it. What bothers me far more, however, is that the person who deleted it never even attempted to explain their decision. This is despite the fact that, in my opinion, the issue sparked quite a lively discussion among other members of the group.
Instead of open communication, I get the impression that the administrators would rather sweep the whole matter under the carpet and pretend nothing happened. I find that approach disappointing and, frankly, rather pathetic.
I have been dedicating my free time to developing software for this amazing computer for many years. I do it primarily because I enjoy it and because I want to contribute to the growth of the community. I also supported the latest KS3 Kickstarter campaign because I believe in the ZX Spectrum Next project and care about its future.
That makes it all the more frustrating to be treated as though I were someone whose very presence in the community is somehow unwelcome.
I am also increasingly getting the impression that the administrators are determined to protect certain "old-school" coders or established "legends" at all costs, even if that comes at the expense of other people who are actively creating software for this platform.
In my opinion, a community should be built on mutual respect, not on who has the biggest reputation or who has been around the longest.
I value my time. The countless hours I spend developing, testing, and improving my projects could easily be spent doing something else. So if anyone thinks I am going to continue investing my time and energy in a Facebook group where I feel that neither my work nor my contribution is appreciated, they are mistaken.
Fortunately, there are other ways to showcase my work, share it with others, and communicate with people who are genuinely interested in what I create.
I still love the ZX Spectrum Next, and I certainly have no intention of stopping development for it. I simply no longer feel the need to be part of an environment where silence and double standards seem to matter more than respect and open communication.
Hi, download the latest version—this bug has been fixed.

Hi, from version 1.7 I will only maintain the Dot version. I will fix the documentation today, I forgot about it. Sorry.
Maintaining two separate versions would be very demanding, especially if they were functionally identical. From a practical point of view, instead of uploading the Basic program CC.BAS, you just need to enter the command .cc.
By the way, I posted a second article about Flashback for the ZX Spectrum Next... ;)

Would you like to check out another game of mine for the ZX Spectrum Next?
