What throws me off is when I turn the tug left or right. My instinct is to press Up to go forward. Instead I need to keep pressing Left to push left. Then if I'm in the wrong place, the boat starts to canter. Then I panic and I can't fix it and it's frustrating for me. It's not long before the river is jammed.
I love the UI, and the character development with the different wakes is creative and beautiful.
I feel like this game was created for a certain type of player (not me!). A video talk-through, walk through would be helpful. I love the intro screen, that's perfect. I love the music and SFX. Just for me, some on screen tips would be great.
Great getting the game in on time! These are a few things I see, I'm a newbie to the jam.
I can't tell what I'm racing, it's just me on the track. I shot a few things, but I thought it should show damage or disappear after hitting. Direction of the race is also questionable. If the game is full screen, the map turns instead of the player which makes me dizzy. Is there a keyboard combo to make the tank go faster? Staying on the track is optional.
