Hi all! Would love to know which month was your favorite to play through. Leave a comment in this thread! I promise your input will be well worth it <3

Yeah Slick is my sona

Or I went through an extremely traumatic early birth and haven’t been able to draw! Could be that 🤔

That's something we are looking into for future updates!

Right now this is simply a game jam project, and any future updates will be focused on PC before anything else, sorry! We could possibly look into making things more mobile friendly in the future, but that's not what were working on at the moment.

Thank you! Positive comments like this are super inspiring, we appreciate the support!

This project was made in Godot 4. We haven't looked into making things more mobile friendly just yet, but it is something we've considered for the future!

Hi, thanks for your feedback. We're working on improving things, but please remember this is a game jam game.

If you could be more constructive and less toxic with your comments in the future, that would be appreciated.

Not sure what that means, is it just the dialogue text bugged or is all text not working? Is there anything you can share about your machine that might be causing it?

It's a bug, we're trying to figure it out but we haven't quite isolated the issue yet. Sorry!

We're putting the finishing touches on a post jam update, should be up in a day or two! After that ,we have some bigger adjustments for the next real version of the game

If you've gotten to overdue you've already won! Overdue is an endless mode so there really is no "beating" it, it's just for fun!

Thank you! That's all good feedback on what to prioritize for the update!

saving progress is coming soon!

The game jam version is admittedly a little shaky, we'll be looking into this stuff. Thanks for letting us know!

Interesting stuff! We have some fun idea's we want to add that hopefully everyone will enjoy!

Click cards to select them in hand, prepare them using the frying pan and cutting board in early courses then serve a big meal to end the day strong! Getting cookbook upgrades when they show up helps to build combos, and don't forget to satisfy her cravings!

We're still looking into how that works, but it's something we would like to do for this game!

Ah, a bit of an oversight on our part! It's on the short list of things to fix!

Overdue is currently just a bonus endless mode! No special events, and it's a little untested. Just something to have fun with if you want to keep playing after day 10

The "end" is day 10 when you complete the study, Overdue is just a bonus endless mode for people who want to push the limit :)

There is a little bug where she doesn't grow as quickly on the side as she's suppose to. By day 5 you should see what you're looking for :)

It is! There has been a lot going on in the real world for us as of late, but rest assured we're still working on the grand finally!

It is! Month 9 is still being written, just slow going (a lot of real life going on atm). Slowly but surely, new content IS coming!

No seggs for this game, but for future projects? We'll see!

Ah! That's a known bug that will be squashed in the next build. It seems to mostly be a problem if you go into month 7 straight from month 5, for the time being, resetting the game, then entering month 7 from the stage select should allow you to see the images!

Do mean mean the beginning or end of a chapter when the screen is black? If so there are no images in those parts. Otherwise please let us know what is missing exactly.

Glad you like it! :3

We'll look into it once the full version is released!

Don't wanna say too much, but there just may be something like that in the cards ;)

Perhaps, but we would need to come up with some cheats!

It is coming a bit slower than expected, but we're a good way through the writing. Stay tuned!

We'll try and look into it for the next build!

Not sure why it would be doing that, can you tell us any more about what exactly is happening?

Yes! We're hoping to keep adding more sound effects with each update

The next update is in the works! We don't want to give a definite date but we will be seeing the exciting conclusion before the end of the year!

Updated menus and UI, and a new chapter! You can see the details here: https://slickpens.itch.io/county-fair-cutie/devlog/989776/county-fair-cutie-043-...

Not sure about that one, we'll look into it!

In the mean time, it may work if you clear all of month 7 and have the game over screen send you to the main menu. After that it should let you choose month 7 from the scene select.
