I put the controls in the description since I forgot to make a controls UI in game.

This is great! I don't always understand gears, but from what I took away from this:
Belt transfers rpms
Big gear -> small gear = multiply
Small gear -> big gear = divide
If you ever wanted to expand this or make it more complicated, I recommend adding resistance for gears; at the moment you only need one motor gear to run everything... which is what I did, along with running belts everywhere.
I certainly agree that it could have more depth. The only thing that influences the movement are your health and upgrades. I didn't have time to get he UI working with the upgrades, but the player health influencing the movement was interesting. I was considering making harder enemies and having it so that you might be slow but do more damage? Something like that, but alas I was unable to put as much time into the game as I'd have liked to.
You can download any version of Godot without affecting previous or current projects. It will show a warning when going above the current version, or for going below the current version, denoted by a small triangle by the version number when you first open the engine. I have 4 different versions, though it's really just 2 versions but one with C#/.NET, the other Standard.
Yeah, I'm no master sound designer lol. I'd like to work on my weakpoints, which includes anything sound-related. I think I could also improve on the game flow better - when I was playtesting I think it would be nice to skip dialogue if you just want to play the game. Maybe also give more feedback when you get a character right, it could fade away instead of disappearing.
Anyways - thanks for playing my game! I took a look at and played yours at the start of the rating period, I think it would be a decent idea to add little ghost helper that feeds the giant as well, since that became the main issue for myself, with 200 meats to feed at the end. I like how your theme was to go to town on the towns the giant walked to.
