Great sound effects, music, and art here! Love the knitting in the corner. Btw I found your secret debug menu XD

Thanks! I agree it's repetitive. As others have said, I should probably add more enemy types and I'm thinking of adding waves and upgrade between waves, maybe a course you gotta get Dracula through.

Thanks! Yours is too. I could probably make the loop better here with some roguelite elements like waves and upgrades between waves or something and different enemies.

Loved it! The art is cute and the enemy movements are creative. I put the hat on just to take it off again lol.

Good job! Love the art.

Really cool idea! And well executed.

Awesome game! Rated 5/5 in all categories. Love the intro lol.

Lol you’re just too good at this game!

Thanks for the great feedback!

I’ll work on making my games full screen compatible. And I made it so the crosses don’t spawn close to Dracula, but didn’t apply that logic to the werewolves since they won’t attack if they are close to Dracula since they are only ranged.

Zooming out the camera is a good idea. I should have played with that more before settling on the size.

Thanks! If I had more time, I would definitely add more enemies. Was thinking of adding vampire hunters that shoot silver bullets and a melee enemy that uses a wooden stake.

Not really sure what to do/how to do it, but nice job putting this together/programming all of this!

*Slurping jello sound*  :P

Thanks for the feedback. More enemy types would definitely help. I was also thinking of making it wave-based with upgrades between waves.

Aw thanks for that! Glad you enjoyed Sniff Man lol. Good luck to you as well :D

(1 edit)

Really fun! But hard to hold X while hitting space bar. Would be nice if holding dracula was just a button press instead of hold. Loved the art and intro sequence.

Awesome! Got pretty far before I realized each fruit had bonuses based on where they are/what they're surrounded by. Great job!

Great writing! Loved it. Nice job :D

Really cool! Love the vibes. Mouse movement was super sensitive so it was tough to get used to. Very jumpy and I often hit ceilings or walls and my ship disappeared from view. Good job though overall, it was fun.

Awesome job. Love the art/animations!

Really fun! Polished and unique. Loved the bomberman style explosions.

Lol thanks, I thought I was being so original, but I see there are like 40+ dracula games. Just played yours. Nice take on it!

Nice animations! And pretty fun. Great job :D

Really fun and polished.. almost too polished! Great job putting this together.

Noticed the same bug there with the rotation, especially when going from like up to left, or down to left.

☺️ Thanks! Glad you had fun :)

all good, will try that out!

Very creative and fun! Great job, especially for one of your first games :D

Some minor feedback:

- The text at the beginning revealing from the bottom up makes no sense since you have to wait until it's fully revealed to really read it.

- Platforming is missing all the nice-to-haves (coyote time, variable jump, etc.)

- Controls felt weird. When using both keyboard and mouse, WASD is more ergonomic instead of arrow keys. You could always bind both so the player can choose. On laptop it was a bit weird.

Very cute! Unique gameplay as well. Great job putting this together :D

Way too big for me to be able to see the whole screen. Had to keep using my scroll bars. Also wasn't sure what to do.

Really fun! Loved the dialog and how you introduced the mechanics over time.

Simple but effective! Got me wracking my brain for a 7 letter word lmao

Cool dungeon! Love the sounds and lighting. It's kind of a lot of text, and giving AI generated game a bit, but pretty fun overall! I see the Hades influence for sure.

No game to play??

Woot! Thanks for spinning your meat :D

great to hear!

I see why this won 1st in audio. Also should have won 1st in visuals! Solid af, and great atmosphere. Highly polished!

You da real sniff man!

Thank you! No need to be jealous :)

So cool! Love it and was sad I made it to the end already. Great concept and well executed. Love the music and art.

So fun! And such a creative idea :D

LOVE this! So fun :D Good job.
