Not to spoil too much, but my plan for resolving the contention is largely to remove the younger brother from the front-burner until a more urgent plot thread has run its course.
(Yes, I realize everyone is a new player, but the Curse of Knowledge is especially potent on the opening act of any game’s writing, so I’m trying to curve that.)
