100 robux for purple spinnies?

honestly idk what to do with the free roam camera. i feel like i would need a lot of art for the player to look at and i'm not the best at it. i can definitely improve the music and i'm looking to have a more solid style to my game.

You should try Wheelionaire!

Very dopamine inducing once you get a lot of upgrades!

Got 100% accuracy. EZ

Unfortunate what happened to the build but I'll check it out after the game jam ends! Gameplay looks cool from what I see in the trailer.

Love this interpretation of the theme. The 2D art on the 3D game is also a nice touch.

Completed it quickly once I got the hang of it. It was fun seeing the cards rotate even though I'm mainly looking at the arrow at the bottom. Cozy vibe was executed well, kinda contrasts with the gameplay but I like it. Once you complete the level it makes it more relaxing

Neat! I have been inspired by the vibe of Flash games recently. I was too studious in school though lol.

Thanks for playing! :)

Wow thanks! I'll definitely add a zoom function for the camera.

Thanks! I plan to have more spinnies in the full version.

Wow. This game actually had me speechless because it was done so well. The art style, the story, and the Animal Crossing-like noises when dialogue appears stand out to me. The pacing is intentional and perfectly executed for the game jam. I have no feedback when it comes to what you could have done during your time frame. But when you develop this into a full game, just don't forget to add the shadows for the blades of the windmill on the title screen. If this ever comes out officially, I'll play it without a doubt.

I finally completed this game. It's pretty simple and has a serious topic along with some light-hearted moments. The dev actually implemented my suggestion pretty early in playtesting (it was the menu that showed the upgrades you bought). I think it came from wanting a better sense of progression from buying the upgrades but also I didn't want to miss the story if that makes sense. If the story is important and is mainly told through text, make sure it's displayed clearly and not skipped as easily. Take inspiration from visual novels if you haven't already. (I'm not too familiar with that space though) My nitpicking aside, I've seen you've done a really good job on this game. :)

It was pretty fun getting upgrades and seeing them fly across the screen. Spinning the sword is also pretty fun although tiring for me.

I beat expansion 5! It took a couple tries over 15-20 minutes or so. I like how there is potential to calculate and optimize production, but I sometimes just bought stuff with high numbers and hoped it was enough (I played Balatro this way).

I have some suggestions if you decide to work on this game further. I do agree that the orbiting speed can ramp up pretty fast. I think the player should control the speed so they can play as fast as they want. My other suggestion would be to have some other way to sell or get rid of the planets. I don't really want to spend suns keeping a cold planet that gives 4 earths every rotation. There is some fun in managing the little space you have though, not sure if it's intended. I could have also used extra suns at the end to move planets I didn't want into the hot orbit.

The art is really nice, sound fx are pretty good, and the minimal music is a nice choice given the setting. This game is a pretty polished experience overall. :)

Wow you reset two times?! You can get an all caps "THANKS FOR PLAYING!". I also thought about that complex machine idea in my head as I was developing this game. I'll let you know if I ever update this game. :)

Thanks for commenting! I do the same thing sometimes haha

Glad it seems like an idle game! Feel free to suggest something that could make it more interesting.

This is a really nice game. Spinning the board and letting go so the ball goes in the hole is super satisfying. Personally I find it hard to manipulate the blue and green wheels while looking top down.

I like the filter you put on the game, not sure what it's called. Checkpoint 6 is pretty difficult for me. I can't seem to get enough speed to get over the hole while still avoiding the red balls. Don't know if I'm approaching it wrong though.

I love this idea! Sisyphus and incremental games seems like a really good match. If I were you, I would work on this game more.

The idea and visuals are nice. I wish it was a little easier to get spins at first. The best way that I've found to do it to draw a C or U shape with the mouse. The spinner doesn't really keep its speed when I spin the mouse multiple times. Other than that, great job!

Personally, I really like this mechanic in games so it was fun. Music is very calming too. I wouldn't mind playing more!

The spin mechanic is nicely done here. The physics when spinning is pretty good and the sound effect for it is satisfying. I'm kinda bad at puzzle platformers so I got lost lol. Good job overall!

I really like the gameplay and playing as a spinning top. A small thing I'll bring up is that I pick up exp and sometimes see the upgrade screen after I die. Other than that the game is solid. Really like the title as well :)

Haha thanks for the comment! I'm not new to programming but game dev is definitely its own thing. Also I'm glad the metagame cog is working!

Thanks for trying my game out! I'll hopefully improve my art and the design of the game. Any suggestions?

Thank you for playing!

Thanks for playing! I do plan to have some sort of active mechanic that's not too hard on your fingers.

Thanks for playing! What will make the game more engaging for you?

Lol I'm glad that people are liking my soundtrack. Do you have any suggestions that can make the game engaging?

Glad you enjoyed it! I plan to make it more complex if it becomes a full game though.

Thanks for the feedback! The goal is to make the "fan" spin fast enough. If it hits a certain speed, you will see a reset button and you can "complete" the game. I'll admit there isn't much to the game. You can click the Spinny Info arrow in the game description for tips.

I love the art style on this game! Gameplay is simple yet solid. Opening cutscene is cool but I don't want to watch it every time I die. Also is this game endless?

Neat little game. I played the game up to the enemy after the vampire. My suggestion is that you add a little text popup when a ball hits a peg like +1 or x2. Color palette is nice too.

Surprisingly, I found enjoyment in drawing the level for the ball. I did give this game low rating for the jam but it might have potential?

The art is nice and the driving feels pretty good until the controls switch which messes with my mind.

Yeah it's pretty difficult to go through tunnels. I couldn't help pear guy with his taxes :(

I stomped on the computer a couple times so I'll consider that as a win. There are some cool models in this game. My small suggestion is that you should change how the camera moves. It operates as if you're playing a FPS instead of a third person platformer game. Or just don't show the bean and make the game in first person (might be easier).

An indie studio named Croteam. I've never actually played these games before, I just remember seeing this image somewhere and I thought it would fit.

A serious jam needs Serious Sam
