This is so good! You totally nailed the aesthetic here, right out the gate with those perfect windows. The real treat though is how much stuff there is to explore—a little gag packed into every corner, like e-ink depletion and how the move button moves. I love the Geode button. After I beat the game I had to go back in and see what else I’d missed—I didn’t use the rewinder or the rest options the first time. I only just now apprehended Mr. Assistable. Everything here is so funny and so polished! Fantastic work.

Ooh this is one of my favorite ones this year. The character feels really good to control (and I like their design) and zipping around from point to point is super fun. Having the attacks be a limited resource you need to choose to divide between enemies and the algae is really smart and means you have to think carefully about what you’re doing all the time.
I keep getting about 500 points, though in my later runs I’m getting it faster, which must count for something! I think in my last run the dash broke—I’m not totally sure what happened, but I couldn’t do it anymore.
Anyway! Great job, and thanks for sharing it with us. :)
Nicely done! I really like the artwork—the way that every single year lost makes you visibly older is really well done. It makes a big difference—the whole thing is much more visceral when you see yourself hunching toward death and then suddenly spring back with all the color back in your beard again. The puzzles are fun (though I skipped the two where you have to push your way through solid walls of boxes, I just didn’t wanna math it out), and I like the “victory lap” level at the end and the final cutscene. Really great work.
made it to about 400k points! It felt sometimes like I could just shoot and shoot and shoot and be fine forever—maybe the game needs some kind of reloading mechanic? It was just a more reliable option than countering, which is a little bit of a shame because the counter animations are super cool. Good job with those, and with making the gun feel nice and crunchy.
This game is so, so fast! When there are four players I can’t quite react in time to anything that’s happening, so my best bet is to just hide. Against 1 I can do a fun little chase. The smoothness of the movement and the clinks are very satisfying. I wonder how this game would do with much bigger levels, so you have more space to chase each other around, and so you can sort of shave off territories for yourself over time.
Nice! I think you do a good job exploring the the possibilities here, setting yourself up to transform at just the right time. I feel like there’s potential to give the egg more strengths, too, like allowing it to build up more speed rolling around? I found myself cracking as the egg on straightaways sometimes just from turning over a little too hard.
I got 7:01 in my run, but this seems like a fun one to race against other people in. :)
Really cute! I love the wiggly graphics and the music (a little Baba inspired, maybe?) The puzzles are fun, though it’s hard to tell exactly what colors are needed sometimes. If I could at least see what the target mix was while on those spaces, it would help a lot.
The whole game is really charming. I like that you even have an option on the title screen to see the animation in the background—someone was proud of it :)
For some reason I can’t get past the intro dialogue. Clicking “roger” or anything else and pushing all the keys doesn’t seem to do anything? Looks like it’s not a universal bug since the others have been able to play. Shame, because the art looks super rad - I was interested in seeing what’s up here.
Cool game! There were a few times when I thought the level design was kind of unfair, like the sudden radioactive barrels and the dark level, but when I paid attention I saw there were totally reasonable hints to guide me along. Made it to the end! I like the pixel art, and the title screen kinda goes really hard? Love the vibes.
Thanks so much for recording your playthrough! I agree with basically all your points - it was mostly just a matter of time running out for us. When you’re playing these microgames again and again to test them you get used to beating them very quickly, and we just didn’t get enough playtesters in to figure out how much time was reasonable. I think I’d want to add about two seconds to most of them—it ought to be a little tough, because it should feel a little frantic.
And, heck, I think there’s something wrong with the font specifically on the web build! The radio game requires you to tune to a specific frequency range, and if you can’t even read the number it’s kind of impossible. Worked on my machine 🙃
It is possible to win all the games and you get a successful launch so long as you get at least twice as many wins as failures. (the middle ending is the best one imo)
I appreciate all the thoughts!
I like the vibes in this one! It is really tough, and I think the game would feel a lot better if enemies had less health—even if you put in more enemies to compensate for it. I was whaling on that boss for what felt like forever and I don’t know how close I was to beating him!
There’s some good little details in that make the character feel good to play, like the little stretch on a jump. I dig it.
Heyyy, another microgame collection! I like the extra twist of making your time into a currency for perks. (I think there’s a bug with the one that keeps you alive when you run out of time? I still got the game over screen, but the game also kept going).
Some of the games are really tough! I could never figure out what the “click the right point in the meter” one wanted me to click (maybe it’s too precise an area?), and getting two orders in for the coffee one is really hard.
I like the trap of the “copy” option in the virus game. That’s a real sneaky one!
Well done! Can you really make it all the way down?? I was only able to make it to floor 20.
This is cute! the whole countdown at the beginning, to I decl-are a WORM WAR is so dang charming. I don’t have a buddy to play with right now so I just kinda tried it against myself, and I’m not sure if you have any options if you’re getting pinned? But the vibes are good so I’m glad I came across this one. :)
It’s a bit of a complicated game to learn while I’m five minutes away from dying, but I like it! It’s a neat use of tarot cards, and I like the different twists that the major arcana bring. Sort of a lot to memorize but the design of the game us fun—I’m tempted to play it in real life with a friend. Nicely done :)
The voice acting is real fun too. If I had five minutes to live and the only thing I could do was extend that a few more minutes with the witch, would I play with her? …I might!
Thanks! yeah, if you hit the target frequency it plays a little voice clip from one of the NASA missions. This one, actually: https://www.nasa.gov/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/640170main_Roger20Roll.mp3
NASA has this whole page of audio clips from their history, it’s really charming: https://www.nasa.gov/historical-sounds/
I dig it. I like a weird experimental thing about finding the right idea. You ask for some patience from the player here but I think it’s super cool.
I accidentally walked into the solution area in the second part before I’d really had a chance to try to figure things out, and in the third area something happened and my aim started drifting to the top left (using just a trackpad and keyboard, so no idea there). I kinda love the gun golf music?
hey, the music is a bop and the way the maze is made of these convincing physical household items is really charming! I kinda wish I had some opportunity to see your weird little mouse character up close. there’s a few bugs in there but I believe in you! navigating a maze with a character that trails behind your mouse is a tricky little challenge, I like it.
oh man the art team did a great job on this. Real spooky vibes in the vein of Psychonauts - the 2D and 3D art is both great.
You’re going for some interesting stuff here (the way the camera flies around a body part as you cut it is really neat). I wasn’t able to get much done, though—every time I cut off a nose it just sort of fell into the body and disappeared, and when I gave the surgeon the tweezers they asked for it said it was the wrong tool. :(
Bugs are bummers, but I like what I see here! I’d love to see what the full vision was.
The art here is so rad! I love the spooky forest vibes, the artwork on the tiles, the way they flip up or down depending on the camera angle, and the crunchy sounds when you nom on them pigs.
When I started I thought I was expected to put down all of the tiles before kicking off the whole thing, but then I got to a level that was too big to see everything was confused about how I was supposed to plan things out. Seems you need to sort of make it up as you go? An undo feature would be really nice for exploring your options. (Also always nice to have a level skip for jams)
Super well done though. Super polished game. And the page itself looks so good!
I like the presentation of this—clean shapes, with the little object floating around in front of you. It might be post-jam brain but I had a lot of trouble understanding what to do. (I think the camera needs to be pulled back just a little bit so I can see all the symbols on the dashboard).
Couldn’t figure out the second step after the countdown started! Either the use of the triangle button eludes me or the sliders on the right require more precision than I can muster. (Maybe they should snap into the 25% steps?)
nicely done. puzzles where you are some some variant of untangling a knot can be really satisfying and this one accomplishes that perfectly. I especially like the levels that require you to wrap the wires around the walls.
I think this would be a really neat VR game, since that would give you so much more control over the position and orientation of the cables. it felt like if I pulled it the right way I could sorta whip the cables and it would be fun to do that with full control!
one little suggestion: it can be hard to tell sometimes how long each cable is, especially since they’re kind of… stretchy? having a differentiator between lengths, like color (or maybe just an optional displayed number length) could be helpful.
this is a super solid jam game, well done :)
super cute! what a delightful little game. it’s a perfect little thing by itself but perhaps there’s room to try other things too. I’m imagining, like… putting down railroad tracks so a train goes around the turtle, and its weight shifts around as it moves. hmm!
a really nicely executed jam game with a great turtle. well done.
