I tried doing a web build once and there was a load of errors to be fixed I didn’t have time for(i only had an hour because I had other things to do)

I only had an hour to finish it, so I really hope another dev picks up the slack!

Would the themes be major(like the whole theme of the game) or minor(an aspect of the game)?

And yes the bosses do do a ridiculous amount of damage.

I'll be suprised if anyone actually gets above 30 kills(meaning beaten 2 bosses).

I think Scratch is a good starting point, but you should move on to other programming languages after around 6 months of learning Scratch. Python is a good starting language after Scratch. Personally, I used Python for around another 5 months before moving on to something like Unity.

Fred's Neat Tunes is my jam game, it's a mediafire download since I had to update it after the deadline(Version 1.2 was extremely buggy, so I fixed it :D)

i used an AI text to speech generator to generate voice and nearly all the art was generated by AI or computer-generated!

it was collaborate with ai, not just ai

very fun, althugh there should be more of a clarification on what space does...took me quite a while to figure out.

Fun but very difficult. Interprets theme very nicely. Epic!

I was going to make it harder and add more levels, but then I realized I didn’t have enough time…

how i do that is by trying to make a huge list of ideas i want to do, then narrowing it down bit by bit, and even if you can't narrow it down to one just combine multiple of them for a really wacky idea. make sure the idea is:

A: Fun/Creative(if its another generic platformer then its not fun)

B: A fun theme(does not have to follow game jam theme)

C: Not too challenging to do(only 2 weeks boi)

but unlike game engines like Unity or Unreal, you have to do raycasting and all sorts of nonsense to make 3D in scratch!
