SPRITEARTS | Free Pixel Art Assets

Crown & Coin is a fantasy browser-based RPG currently in early development.
The game is fully playable in the browser (no download required) and focuses on missions, progression, combat, and character building.

This version is part of an active testing phase, and I’m looking for players who want to test the game and share honest feedback.

⚔️ Game Features

🍺 Tavern & Missions

Time-based missions
Rewards: XP, Gold, Items
Companion drops:
- 1% chance from missions
- 5% chance from dungeons

🏟️ Arena

PvE Arena – fight against NPC enemies
PvP Arena – player vs player combat

🏰 Dungeons

Group content (3 or 5 players)
Can be played with NPC party members
Better loot, higher XP rewards

🧙 Classes & Equipment

Multiple classes (e.g. Blade Guardian / Klingenwächter)
Equipment types matter:
- Wearing the wrong armor type reduces effectiveness
- Incorrect gear can apply stat penalties (e.g. −50%)
Gear choice and builds are important

🐴 Mounts

Reduce mission duration
Provide bonuses (XP, gold, time efficiency)

🐾 Companions

Companion / pet system
Dropped through missions and dungeons
Provide bonus stats (XP, gold, special effects)

🎒 Game Systems

Inventory & Equipment
Storage / warehouse
Blacksmith (buy & sell items)
Friends system
Hall of Fame / rankings

🚧 Development Status

Early Access / Test Phase
Features, balancing and UI are still being improved
Bugs may occur – feedback helps a lot

Hi everyone 👋

I’m a solo developer currently working on Crown & Coin, a browser-based idle RPG that is still in an early prototype stage.

Right now, I’m looking for a few people who would like to help with:

– Playtesting

– Giving honest feedback

– Sharing ideas and suggestions

– Helping keep feedback organized (comments, ideas, issues)

This is NOT a paid position — it’s more about being an early community member and helping shape the game while it’s still very flexible.

You don’t need any special skills:

If you enjoy idle / progression-based games and like giving feedback, that’s already perfect 🙂

If the project grows, there may be opportunities later on, but for now this is purely a hobby / passion project.

At this point, I’m mainly looking for ideas and honest feedback to help shape the game going forward. Many systems are still flexible and can change based on feedback.

Things I’d love your thoughts on:

– Does the core gameplay make sense?

– Does progression feel rewarding or too slow/fast?

– What features would you expect in a game like this?

– Is anything confusing or unnecessary?

– What would make you come back to play again?
