Less of a game and more of a tool but a very polished and fun take on the theme, might use this in the future

A cute little Rogue-lite(?) game that was pretty fun, if i had one criticism it would the movement could been a bit more smooth, I got stuck on walls a bit too much for a game with corridors to tight, outside of that though. Pretty good, good job!

One of those jam games that with more polish can be turned into a full on puzzle game, awsome concept and awsome execution, good job!

My finger hurts and I realised I am really bad under pressure.
I thought it was just going to be a simple game about hitting stuff in 10 seconds, ended up having a mini panic attack while trying to juggle balls and keeping the timer intact.

only complaint is the inital sensivity made me break my neck, thankfully you had a sensivity slider.

A cute little arcade-y game, I like the curse mechanic though some of them are a little bit too punishing maybe, I feel like if i try a few more times i could get a better score. Good job!

The game definitely has it's rough edges and could use some more polish, but it's super charming with cute mysteries and really fun character designs.

One thing, i'd would wanted to see is if there was a way to zoom into the evidence? Unless I missed it or my game broke, I had a really hard time reading the blood reports on the second case, still managed to solve it though.

When the guy you bet on is such a fraud that no amount of slow counting can fix it...

Honestly one of the more creative games in the jam, I do agree with the previous commenter that there could have been a bit more variety between fighters, but it is still a 4 day jam and i get that time was running short, still a great game though congrats!

In a jam filled with Count Down puns (including our game) having bunch more pun names is the logical evolution.

I really liked this game, the combat felt responsive and fun, the poetry and pun names were extremely funny and I did not expect this many boss fights (however simple) in a jam, one thing I'd change is honestly replacing the ranged attack with a sword attack similar to the down slash because it felt like the down slash was a way more satisfying attack then the regular one, outside of that though basically a perfect little game, good job

I love how simple the main character is compared to the eldritch gf, it gives me clark from connecticut vibes

Obscure comic references aside, I like the peggle gameplay, (It's a shame the eldritch gf KEEPS THROWING) but the story was fun, gameplay is satisfying and the art is gorgeous, overall a great game!

Pretty fun game! I do think the movement could have been polished a lot more, both visually and feel wise, but it mostly needs some number tweaks in my opinion, like making the dash go further and jump slightly higher.

Other than that, I like the 1:30 timer across the entire game concept (something our game also uses), the gameshow theme is fun and overall the game has a lot of potential, good job!

A fun little arcade style game, though I wish there was a final score counter at the you lose screen unless I missed it, still good fun!

A fellow vampire hurting game (Though ours is, slightly bit more violent), very funny and charming, I like the variety of objects you can use to trip and their different limitations and advantages, I did find the cone of view a little finnicky at times, feel like they noticed me when they shouldn't have, maybe a small grace period would have helped it since sometimes they do a turn and clip you by a few inches. Overall still a great game

ps: I am the greatest assassin

Gives me vibes of those early flash games, like Learn to Fly. Very fun, the voice acting was super funny and I could see this being expanded more into a full game with more upgrades, different types of buildings ETC, good job!

Extremely good, though probably shouldn't have played this one right after waking up, my brain got stuck haha.
I don't understand how you can create something this polished in only 4 days, good job everyone!

There is a bullet indicator around the watch, but it is a common complaint to have missed it so I don't think it was an issue on your part, we should have mentioned it in the tutorial, thanks for playing!

Seen quite a few "Do X tasks while each has it's own countdown" games this jam but this one has a very funny and wacky theme around it which is...

The usual Windows 11 users daily life- Huh, maybe it isn't as wacky as I thought?

Jokes aside, this was a pretty cute short little game that made me question if i have a bitcoin miner in my computer, good job!

A pretty common formula of a "use your past selves to solve puzzles" game but done with enough visual flair and polish to make it stand out and fun, I liked the wall button puzzles where I could 'set up' someone walking up and pressing a button by spamming E, then pressing the button in the second go to make them walk up, over all a very cool game that is being passed on which makes me sad, good job!

A very pretty and fun base to a game, definitely one of those jam games that feel like it could be expanded to be a full game with more polish and a skill deck system. Kind of sad how underrated this one has been (third time I typed that today, but it's true for all games I play!)

I think you all should specificy you need to fullscreen through Unity not Itchio, as fullscreening through itchio is not working.
That aside this was a really cute little game, I think with a bit more polish this could end up being a really fun relfex testing game, or even something like a rhythm game with some background tracks. The art is cute, the music is good, overall a nice game, hope you all get more attention!

HOLY, I opened the game and thought my youtube playlist randomly gave me straight heat, The art is top 10 in the JAM imo and the time dilation is a very interesting take on the jam theme, though I feel like it is a little bit too complex, I felt confused in a lot of levels on how it worked, though It might also be a me problem. I am super sad that this game isn't getting the attention it deserves,  hope you all get more rates! Good job!

Thanks for the detailed review, it's good to know our mistakes so we can learn from them. I do think we focused a little too much on the dash compared to our two other attack types that's true, I wish I made some levels where your best course of action was to go for swords more

Very cool idea, I feel like if you scrapped the 3 other towers and just made it a game about the Blank towers and sort of 'Noita style' tower building it would be extremely fun, since it's fun even now, good job!

Thanks for the indepth review!

A reset button is something I have no idea how we missed adding, I've seen other people mention it too.

The main art was done by an artist friend who we randomly pulled into voicechat and forced nicely requested to draw, we are also really happy with it.

Being compared to game likes Sifu and Hotline Miami is unironically a honor, thanks for playing!

The tutorial is a common complaint, it's definietly something we will have to focus on next year to make better

Yeah we really wanted to give the player a few ways to handle each task, I've seen people dash spam or use swords for double kills so I think we succeeded. Thanks for playing!

Honestly in my own speedruns I barely use the crossbow anyways, Dash is the real GOAT.

Thanks for playing :D

Yep! Katana zero was a huge inspiration, thanks for checking it out

Lmfao no problem, I am glad you had fun!

It was kind of a left over design from earlier in dev, where we only had 8 levels (we have 9 now) the idea was you had 1 stake per level, and since dash became much more of an important mechanic it kind of just slipped past. I do also think we should have either made a reload mechanic or made the cross way stronger to push players to save them or use them in specific situations.

Thank you for the feedback :D!

Honestly this is something I'd play if it was released as a full game with a few more job requirments and bomb types, it's a super fun gameplay loop

Played through the start, feels like there is a lot of content to go through to find the killer but sadly this is one of those games I'll probably have to return to after the jam is done and full finish, the character sprites are cute and I like the talk sprites as well, good job overall!

A cute little game I do think some of the levels could been shuffled around to have a better difficulty curve, and there should been more of a tempo (new mechanic -> levels with mechanic -> new mechanic) etc, instead of introducing one and pausing for a while, otherwise overall a really nice game

This was an interesting game, though I couldn't get very far due to getting motion sickness from the stair head bob, which is what I want to focus on, I think you should have found a way to reduce or remove the head bob when going up the stairs, as the game is *about* climbing these stairs and having your screen shake every 0.5 makes it very hard to play

Okay I SUCK at this game so my review will be more focused on the art and everything else.
It is INSANE to me you got this level of art and polish in only 4 days, it does not have the usual Gamejam "Jank' to the ponit it feels like something i could see as a niche indie game on steam and not even question it.  The writing is funny, characters are charming, overall one of the best games this jam.

The crossbow only has 8 bullets across the entire game so you might have ran out of bullets and didn't notice, Thanks for playing regardless!

Extremely cute artstyle and concept, I felt like the rhythm game aspect was a bit too hard but I am using a wireless headphone and we know how much that hurts rhythm games so I can't judge it on that too much, I do agree with an earlier commenter on how a SFX or an effect on success would have helped with both player satisfaction and clarity. Still overall a fun experience, good job!

This was a fun little horror puzzle game, sadly don't have time to beat it currently but I found the art cute and some of the dialogue charming.

WELP! Sorry everyone guess we are getting vaporised!
This was a cute little game, I did find the timers at top to be a bit too finnicky, I feel like just setting up a number timer would been easier but I can also see why that would have made the game a bit too easy,  still really fun and the queens design is very pretty, good job!

Very cute game with some fun puzzles, though I wish the movement was a bit better tuned as there were times I found jumping to be a bit finnicky, it might been due to me playing on the web version though! Overall a very fun experience, good job!
