Good vibes in this team- I know I’m a bit late, but if you may need an assist in programming (C#/GDSCRIPT), pixel art or general art direction, or just a rope-in playtester I’m keen.

Ive got a handful of items on my itch profile developed before the advent of language models, about 10 years self taught C# whilst grinding away in corporate service roles (lol), and technically I have a degree in applied media/film.

I participated as lead programmer in a GGJ project last year “Masks” although the itch page is still pending for that one haha.

Excellent detail, nice work friend. Teaching myself some mob behaviours atm- if I can get it humming I’ll send you the results :D

Great pack friend. Amazing you’re giving this stuff away.

Really like the vibe; feedbacks feel great, and fit the theme well.

I like the explosion radius mechanic, simple but feels like a great addition to the classic experience.

As for critical feedback, I feel the grid is way too large; I can see the game really dragging on for what I assume is supposed to be a short/fun little experience.

I would like to see more interesting “abilities” that perhaps charge-up over time. For example, maybe a carpet bomb run that unlocks at every 10th turn- does a whole grid column of damage to provide some intel to the players.

This would bring up the tensions and help ensure the games don’t run over.

Overall though, a great little program as it is.

Looks great! I hope you keep modelling friend

Thanks for trying it out!

This was originally just a little demo to show off some basic AI for another project, but I kinda liked how it turned out so much I'm gonna add some little bits to it over time.

Definately going to add some fly-cam controls so we can get a close look at the action. Thanks for the tip on the mouse input being an issue- I tried it out on another PC and found exactly what you mean. I'll patch in some cool stuff, hopefully soon.

You're welcome ☺️
