Hey everyone!
My partner and I are currently working on a strategy-focused roguelite on the side, and before we put out a demo (early June), we wanted to get a bit of early gut feedback from people who actually enjoy these kinds of games.
It’s very much:
- systems-first
- base-building + tactical RPG
- late bronze age warfare theme
- more about planning than fast reactions
We’re still early and trying to understand if the core idea makes sense or feels interesting from a player’s point of view.
Not looking for hype or validation — genuinely curious:
- Does this sound like something you’d personally check out?
- Anything here that feels unclear or risky?
- What usually makes you bounce off strategy roguelites early on?
Happy to hear any honest thoughts, even if it’s “not my thing.”
Thanks a lot 🙏
