While I wasn’t able to replicate the gas mask glitch (though I have no doubt it exists), I did manage to find and fix several annoying—and even critical—bugs, though I’ve likely introduced some new ones in the process. The truth is, like any unskilled demiurge, I have far more enthusiasm than experience. I’ve decided to leave the glitch that occurs when trying to solve the wall-symbol puzzle in the area with the monkey; it feels, in a way, consistent with the game’s core concept—much like in real life, attempting to solve a mystery through sheer trial and error can lead to entirely unpredictable consequences. But if you ever decide to go through this journey again, or if anyone else chooses to play this game, I’ve left a more obvious hint for solving this puzzle.
