I'm playing on Firefox.

Tabbed out while it was loading which may have had something to do with it?

Rain into this glitch

An error occurred running the Unity content on this page. See your browser JavaScript console for more info. The error was:

NotAllowedError: Element.requestPointerLock() was not called from inside a short running user-generated event handler, and the document is not in full screen.

And game just displayed a black screen as a result :(

Game of the year (real) (not fake)

Beat it, was quite tricky, but I liked the fun tech you could do by wallramming.

Levels were interestingly designed, simple but not overly simple, and the graphics and effects were top notch.

Sound effects added a lot, I really liked the sound design.

Thank you!

Yeah, making the player spin enemy wheel was a bit of a weird choice, probably going to rework it if I return to this project.

Stylistically really good, the colour palettes were really good, and hits felt quite satisfying.  The sword was nice and large to use, which is good.

My main problem was that the movement felt very floaty and hard to control.

Juicy to play, fast paced, all around a pretty strong game, although there's a lot to keep track of and it's a bit difficult to watch upcoming coins, current bullet, and next bullets while aiming.  I wish that there was some better indicator closer to the gun.

Fast paced platformer, the levels were short but well designed, and the platforms having countdowns was quite a nice mechanic, while not being too stressful.

My biggest problem is the controls felt a bit floaty.

Fun incremental.  Biggest problem I had was buying upgrades was pretty difficult without a microwave timing out in the late game.

But as microwave-likes go, this one was well put together, visuals were cohesive and looked good.

I love the Persona 5 inspired visuals, they look really good, it's super polished there, easy 5 stars!

My only gripe is that the mechanics were pretty difficult to understand, in the first 3 encounters I couldn't tell what I was doing or why I was doing it, or when I got to take turns.  Perhaps some sort of detailed tutorial would have improved it, but as it is it was really difficult to play.

Got 1600 points, theme was really funny, I liked it!

Reminded me a bit of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.

The visual style was really well done, I loved the mix of pictures and cyberpunkesque interfaces.

Got 167400 points, but it glitched so only the drummer was playing.

I'm a drummer irl so like that's my dream but kind of weird.

Fun game though!  I enjoyed it, although I normally don't play Rythym games much.

Excellent little tower defense, sound effects are charming, and the VISUALS!

IT LOOKS SO GOOD MAN.  I hope you make more games in this style, because it's super charming.

Survived for 2:42.

Came back to the game after playing before the game deadline, got 31 points.

Happy to see that the bug got fixed.

The shader for the danger area looks really nice.

Felt like a fun arcade game, compelling and juicy, and all of the challenges except for the missiles feel very interesting.

I thought it was cool how you can jump to save steps, but jumping felt a bit finnicky.

My high score was 11!

Feels like a very interesting concept, core gameplay loop is very compelling, but the main problem I have with it are the controls.  Having movement tied to cardinal directions while the board is diagonal makes remembering the right direction very tricky, and messing up can cause key resources to despawn.

There's also a bit of a death spiral, where if your lantern gets low it's harder to find lantern fuel, so you can't find anything else, and you'll die very quickly after that.

Asides from that, it's visually compelling, unique, and feels fun to play.

Visuals and sound effects were incredible!  Such a thematic game, was quite good, and very juicy.

Took me a few tries to figure out I needed to protect the box, not just fight the enemies though, so I wish it could have had some sort of tutorial.

Yeah, I have a bunch of ideas for stuff I could add after!

I do really like the wooh sound.

Fun and strange little platformer/fighter, slightly eerie, soundtrack works very well.

Reminds me sort of of the near incomparably strange Mooncats, from the UFO 50 collection of games.

Hard to figure out what to do, I just kept getting killed no matter what I did?

Perhaps I just wasn't understanding what to do correctly.

Works well as a short little game, feels very satisfying to click the little tickets.

Visuals feel well polished and put together.

Wonderfully unique puzzle platformer, this has got to be one of my favourite unique mechanics out of all of the puzzle platformers I've played.

Visual style works very well together, puzzles are well thought out, it's a very functional game.

Physics feels a bit weird at times, especially in the clock hand?  But for the most part not a problem.

Fast paced, attack is super fun, the hourglasses feel very strong to hit, and the kill effects for the enemies are funny.

Also, the sand tiles look really good.

Pixelart looks great, all the visuals were really polished, main character's animations are very well done.

Your game is really cool, and the gimmick of getting money based on counting enemies was really well done.

Quite a good game, and I loved the soundtrack (Turnip Boy!)

Interesting approach on the genre, I like how it rewarded you for being exact.

Also, ran into a crash when restarting:

Yeah, I did intend to put icons, but didn't have enough time to draw them all out sadly.

Maybe I'll add it after the jam though.

Yeah, I love media with giant mechs in it.

Pacific Rim was one of my main inspirations.

Yeah, I was meaning to add more interesting tiles but didn't have enough time sadly.

Maybe I'll go back and expand it sometime.

Thank you!

Tried my best to not make it pure gambling.

Haha yeah the little wooh was my favourite sound effect to add

Aw, thank you!

I appreciate it!

Aw, that's too bad.

How far did you make it?

Thank you!

It's all made in Krita.

Yeah, messing around with different builds was like half of the time I spent while programming it haha

Interesting autobattler, but after I lost a battle it didn't allow me to do anything, and just was stuck with one rat standing in the middle of the field.

Reminded me of Root Bear for the Playdate!

Couldn't tell what the threshold to do perfect was, but it was a pretty chill game regardless.

Graphics were amazing, gameplay had a lot of depth, this is a really good game!

Warioware x Roguelite is something I didn't know I needed, but it ends up working very well!

Looks amazing, plays well, super snappy!

I hope you do more games in this style!

Evil!

But funny!

And also the art is so good.
