Nice concept. I liked the way the mechanic is implemented.
you can polish this and look forward on deploying to a web library likeitchio or crazy games or similar - as a an arcade or casual game
Great concept. I felt like you tried to make levels procedurally generate, and it started to repeat the same levels?
but concept itself is fun.
i think maybe you can add some little bonuses, and awards to hype the player here and there, keeping this as a core concept and try putting it to Crazy.Games or similar browser libraries and see.
OR make it as a mobile hyper casual
Yes its totally fine mate. Its a worthy milestone to be able to finish this much within 7 days. including planning, assets and everything.
The reason I mentioned too much about the how to play is that the written section was deliveratly given since many submissions may not have time to make a in game How to play.
all in all. im happy to try out and play your game. keep creating worlds team!
I can see that this is made in a very short amount of time, but I kind of like the concept.
Areas to improve:
- when going outofBound like -falling off, end of map -> reset the player position or game over it
- add more doors
- add sound effects and a background music
- make sure the door open once and not closes (?)
- reduce cylinder thickness to make it a wheel - you can also use an asset of a premade wheel
- and a menu
==== TLDR; it takes time to learn and improve, keep having fun making games, hope to see one in level zero 7 as well ===
Love the audio and the theme. I was wondering whether the 'not moving' time decided to game over or there are a certain Hit points. First play I did very badly to an extent of thinking my shoe is on fire. Maybe the platforms to be juuuuuust a bit more 'less dark' would be great. in 3rd play i really did enjoy. Reminded me of geometry dash.
how about a teleportation option in case of emegency and a score system in next update?
