Hello me and one other developer are doing Game Gauntlet May 18th. We are looking for a sprite/animations artist for the jam as well as future jams/projects.

I have competed solo in ludum dare 56 and 59. added my colleague to form a team so we can deliver more polished games moving forward. We are currently working on an engine that uses entity component system. Our engine currently supports top down and side scroll sprites.

I currently have functionality to take in an Aseprite json and extract tile and animation data.

if aseprite is not your preferred method i should be able to easily create a parser especially if it outputs json as well.

Please let me know if you are interested! Game Gauntlet has a prize of $500 for second place and $1000 for first. Which to keep things simple we will split evenly.

Hello we are a team of 2 developers. We are developing an engine to use for use in game jams and beyond. I have competed solo in ludam dare 56 and 59. And we plan to do the upcoming Game Gauntlet here on itch. I typically use kenney assets but I am looking to get a dedicated artist for Game Gauntlet and other jams.

our engine currently supports top down and side scroll. The reason I am looking for a dedicated artist comes down largely to animations. kenney is great but sometimes there isnt an animation that would fit the game theme. For example ld59 the main character pushed stones around. I ended up doing just the walk anim.
