Thanks, I've worked with Andrew Fisher before. I'll try ask him if he's got any music lying around I can use for this project.

It's based on one of the popular mobile games.

Excellent work, well done. It's amazing to see these high quality releases for the good old Commodore 64.

Hello, nice magazine, this version is complete with all the maps. However the save high score doesn't work, but Bacchus of Fairlight was kind enough to fix the saving and loading, I recommend you use the version they released: https://csdb.dk/release/?id=219965

Cheers,

Jake

Thanks, I hope it will be a fun game with good replay value.

Cheers,

Jake

Thanks, it will take some time, but I'll post updates and a preview when ready.

Cheers,

Jake

Thanks, it's too early and too buggy for a preview.

Cheers,

Jake

Thanks, I very much appreciate that as I literally have no experience saving and loading from disk, but I did run into some serious bank switching issues. I think I got out of sync with the dec $01 and Inc $01 at some point. Anyway I've removed all Kernal calls in the latest release and everything is stable.

Cheers,

Jake

I do  have a C128, actually I do most of my C64 stuff on the C128 as the keyboard is much better, but I'm not sure it would make much difference to release an identical C128 version of the game. But I'll have a look how much effort required.

Cheers,

Jake

My bad, I messed up the RC1 with some weird bank switching bug, new RC1.1 ready, hopefully it works on everything, I've tested VICE, CCS, Real NTSC, Real PAL.

Cheers,

Jake

Thanks, appreciate it. Always love your content Saberman, great to see all the latest retro releases.

Cheers,

Jake

It is, yes, however the RC1 was a bit messed up, new release ready for download.

Thanks, I appreciate your effort, I messed up the RC1 release :-/

New RC1.1 ready :-)

Cheers,

Jake

Did you run the d64 or the prg version?

Make sure you enable virtual devices in VICE.

Settings->Peripheral devices->Generic->Virtual Devices.

Alternatively you can just run the prg version without disk save.

Thanks, much appreciated!

Thanks, the standard version is close to being finished, but the REU version is still an early prototype.
