Hi Everyone, I'm Tim, I made the "Help Finding Games Jobs" branching narrative project a while ago on here (viewable on my profile) based on my experience as a Headhunter in the industry who has worked with Indies to AAA's. I've banded together with some like minded professionals to help seek out and support cool new ideas from indies. Because without genuinely new ideas, games becomes the same old same old.
If you'd like to talk about developing indie games or want to share more about your own indie studio and game, then consider joining the Blue Ocean Games Discord here - https://discord.gg/nBtQSpv8T2 it's a growing hub of indie devs and founders in a warm, friendly environment.
There's a ton of free resources ranging from deep dive research into niche aspects of getting your game self-published, down to info/data on running kickstarters, seeking investment, or more troubleshooting technical issues in-engine.
This whole community is designed to help people grow if they're interested in taking their games to the wider market eventually. Sure it's owned by a company. So there's also options to take part in applying to their funding initiatives up to $300k, or take part in competitions to enter your ideas or trailers for cash prizes if that's your thing, but it's not a requirement.
Hope to see some of you there :)
