The phone-as-interface framing is immediately clear, and the updated route structure sounds like a meaningful expansion rather than a cosmetic remaster. The hobby shop and coffee shop split is a nice low-friction way to let players choose who they want to know. The refreshed sprites and new CGs also make this feel like a strong standalone entry. Looking forward to trying both routes.

That Christmas power-outage setup is an immediate hook, and the single-ending structure with two game-over states sounds like a strong fit for a compact horror entry. I especially like the idea of keeping the threat inside the house; it makes the fractured-story theme feel personal rather than huge. The under-10-minute target also sounds perfect for a first run.
