first of all, thank you for re-uploading this! i tried looking for this game a while back but couldn't find it, i'm glad you managed to archive it. i remember watching john wolfe's video on it when it first came out, and while the game already looked bad, playing it myself revealed even more issues
the AI is terrible, the movement is clunky, the running feels awful, the camera movement when opening doors is atrocious, the sound effects are off, the voice acting is terrible, there's so much wrong with this game

one thing i'm glad about is that the vent sequence actually worked properly for me. in john wolfe's video, he had to spam the W key just to move an inch, but thankfully i didn't have that issue. can you believe this game was originally sold for $20 on steam?!

damn i JUST got here, cant wait to play this abomination

Hey, YouTube keeps deleting my comments so I'm reaching out to you here. Send me your twitter or discord so I can send the remastered playtest demo of Black Rose

Just updated the game so It's a lot more accurate to the old version of Black Rose, let me know what you think!

Sure I'll add it as an extra feature if I go on to remaster the game

I'm planning on remastering Sir Bedlam's games very soon.

  • Offender is an anthology game featuring 3 playable levels. The aim of each level is to evade Offender while exploring dark, eerie environments and discovering clues about his origin story and the victims he has left in his wake. Each level is designed to be a unique and chilling experience, from suspenseful chases to terrifying revelations that will keep players on the edge of their seat until the very end.

I loved this, not being sarcastic.

Something I have to point out is that once you start playing, you can move around but you can't look around. The only way to fix it is by pressing on ESC once, pressing it again would open up the Pause Menu. However, this game has potential!
