An incremental game where you ferry increasing numbers of rescued D-Day survivors across the English channel. Well themed throughout with good sound effects, and with a complete gameplay loop in three phases. However, after watching my men get turned into a red smear in front of my eyes countless times, and watching the death count creep up each day, I cannot say that I felt uplifted by this game.
I figured out that some characters had synergies, and that these seemed to change periodically, and also that these seemed to influence whether or not the obstacles were deactivated, but I struggled to coordinate well enough to get any turtles to safety. Maybe I'm missing something? Would love to come back and replay later if developer replies to this comment with some assistance.
A challenging physics based platformer with great level design. I think this game has really nailed two of the hardest things to get right in a game jam game, which is challenge and clarity. I understood what I had to do, and it wasn't always easy, but the feeling of slowly getting better at the physics provided a satisfying payoff when I finally won. 5 stars for gameplay/fun on that basis :)
Game initially froze the 1st time I launched it, but worked the 2nd time, and well worth it!
Short, highly aesthetic platformer with cool lighting, music, and an uplifting message. I love to rave, and I think this game's creator does too, because I felt the spirit of trance while playing. Hits all the key points on the scoring criteria, so it's a strong rating from me. Wish it were longer.
