Or something more simple like a to do list in which appears some help (not directly saying you what to do)  by spending objects  that don't have many uses(only getting hints of the places you have available at the moment). If you've already gotten everything instead of a hint you would get a thing writen by you (maybe multiple). something like "gueass who's the clown that just wasted some materials" or "you know that you already have everything, right?".

I don't have a very solid idea, but on the map menu there could be a question mark button that when pressed highlights areas that still have more into them. But as an extra, there could be a new service on the shop, "Hint", for X amount of money you get a clue on how to get the thingd you're still missing (scenes,areas, etc), something like for example  "have you seen the flower field newt to the jungle? They're pretty you should check them out",

Also,I know this sounds strange but, could there be some kind of indication that the shop is on the beach? I think unlocking it at the start of the game would be better for progress (it was one of the last places i unlocked because i didn't know it was there).
