Had quite some fun playing this game. First horror game i played in a while that made me jump, which happened when i saw the enemy unexpectedly around a corner. Dont know how that scared me out of everything possible in other games.
I however noticed that the pathfinding is very buggy, and that the enemy often got stuck. There was also a spot where i could stand on the props in the room on the right of the safe room elevator, where the enemy just could not get you. I also had issues where the enemy got stuck in areas that I needed to go, so I really struggled to get past.
I also found it generally hard to figure out what I must do, so half the time I felt like a headless chicken with no direction. I would have liked some more indication to look at the map, and to know where to go.
I also disliked the dropping item on death mechanic, since it seemed tedious to go to retrieve it, and I can imagine dying in certain areas may make that very annoying. I also feel like at one part where its intended to backtrack get a box to jump to the vent, that it was just an unneccessary tedious task that does not really add much to the gameplay, and may be confusing.
Overall a lot of fun! I had issues and bugs with it, but I generally enjoyed it, and think it just needs a bit more work and polish. Liked the story telling with the scattered notes, and the gameplay of having to figure out what to do and where to go to traverse through this place (just wish there was a little more indication). Also like the unique graphic style, and the vibe of the game. I also loved messing with physics.
