Also, your 'open docs' thing isn't working. The link to the documentation is broken or something.
Oh, and is there a tutorial on how to make autotiles somewhere in the docs? I am so confused on what pieces to put where.

Okay, so I figured out a big part of the problem, but it didn't fix the cursor thing. Something else did, at least as long as I had it running and it's a bit weird.

Long story short: I bought this game with a different email by accident, but I thought I had connected it to my account by logging in afterwards. Apparently this was not the case, even though the record of my buying it is on this account. So I downloaded the demo and that's why the interface was all weird.

But I downloaded the right version from the purchase page link this time and my cursor still didn't show up. I was going to use my snipping tool to send you a video, but then when I had it on... SUDDENLY my cursor was there!

It disappears as soon as my snipping tool is ended, but as long as it's on, the little grabby hand appears. Maybe some issue with the account not being connected to the purchase could've been the problem with downloading, but I don't think it's the problem with the cursor, since I didn't download through itch's app and just did a direct download. It won't even let me download anything other than the demo on the app.

So it's some kind of display thing, that's for sure.

No problem, it was weird that there wasn't a single reply from you on there, so I thought maybe you didn't know or were too busy and it fell through the cracks.

As for the problems in my own program, I'm going to reinstall it, run it again and see if anything is different. If the first project is forced to be 16x16, does that just mean I have to make another one? That's a simple fix, I guess. It's just that I don't know of any documentation online for PS Maker, so I don't know where things are, in general. Tutorials really only show you how to do specific things, not where everything is or what it's for and all its possible uses. So I got overwhelmed with all the problems and then couldn't figure out what to do next.

But if the reinstall fixes the mouse issue, I would probably be able to find my way around, at least. Let's hope. I'll reply to your other reply to me once I have and let you know if it was fixed or if it's the same.

I'm not sure why, but my version doesn't work at all. I got it just a week ago? Maybe a few days. I'm not sure, but I opened it up and tried to mess around with it and it seemed like a few things started glitching and I'm not even sure what went wrong.

But some notes on other things I noticed:
1. I can't see my cursor? I don't know where I'm going with my pointer until I hover over an icon or have a tile in my 'hand' and that's disorienting and confusing. Is there a setting for this somewhere I didn't see? And if so, why is it set to default?

2. I tried uploading some assets and then found out this is a 16 x 16 engine exclusively? Even though it asks me about the size of the tiles and stuff? Because when I tried to use my 32x32 stuff, it wouldn't let me. I'm not sure why. Is there somehow I could capture a snapshot of the thing and send you a bug report?

3. I had to really look around the screen to even find out how the map system worked because the bar up in the top left was difficult to even get my mouse on (invisible cursor) and even when I Did and clicked something, nothing happened until I figured out exactly where to click and on which one.

Would it be at all possible to just make it a button that folds out the side bar or switches from map to the other state and then back again with a bigger hitbox or something?

Also, it tried to update when I first installed it, failed. I had to turn it off, come back later and it finally updated or so it said. Maybe there was an error?

Basically this was nonfunctional for me, so I figured I'd uninstall until you launched to steam, get a steam key and see if it's just an issue with itch or something.

EDIT: You are giving people a bad impression on steam, also, by not being more active giving replies, as there are so few there and yet no interaction appears to be happening. You're probably busy and you might not have known that steam discussion can be had before the software or game drops? But they are asking questions and you aren't answering so they're starting to get a bit miffed about it. Not much yet.

The Only note I can think to give, is that this game is wayyyy too short for the story it's trying to tell. The romances happen too fast-- all except Ernol and Vadeyn for the most part, as you can get together right before the climax and your flirtations with them are a bit more subtle until the love confessions happen.

I think the only real problem this game has, is its length. There are some errors in the grammar, spelling and some words are missing but really I can ignore that. The story itself is interesting but nothing ever gets explained. Even at the end, like these other people in the comments, I'm entirely confused.

Are the Cutinah like from another dimension or something? What's going on there?

I know this games' themes are kind of dark, but we could've had at least a bit of explanation for what's going on. Characters we could've met-- like the person we bought our dress from.

She could've lamented that the situation in Gha'alia was bad and for what reasons while we were getting dressed and you could've learned more about the political situation.

Then, if you'd decided to go to the people to become popular, there could've been this whole series of scenes in which you talk to different civilians, finding out what they love and hate about living in Gha'alia. Figure out what the real problems are.

And to the Cuthintal, you could've found out whether or not the Cutinah were actually a threat or not-- and then made an entirely informed decision on whether or not to be selfish and live your life or lock yourself away for the sake of everyone you love.

I feel like I know nothing and like the romances were just a bit too fast. Those are really the only issues I have.

Otherwise, I liked the characters, I liked their interactions and their many different issues with each other, I just didn't get to see enough of it, you know?
