I know that this jam is not horror only, as it can be hallowen themed without horror, but I want to ask about the horror and what we can and can't do about some common things in horror games, like can the game have blood, psycological themes, gore, body harmfull alteration (like losing limbs, or adding limbs), suicide? I ask this because in the rules we have "...and many of our participants and audience are minors in their location." and "...or statement of intent of suicide or self-harm are similarly disqualified...", So I want to know if I can add x or y to the game, what can I show as image but cant show in text or audio (and what can I show in text but not as image, etc...), what the limit of x and y.

1- My game can ONLY have yuri romance? Or can I have a focus on yuri but also have others types of romances as options?

2- my romance options need to be humans or they can be something else? (like a eldritch horror, a fridge, hallucination, a robot, etc)

3 - my VN can also have other types of game mecanics together (as long it focus on the VN gameplay core), if it makes sense for a puzzle, a dream, etc? (like mini golf, a plataformer, a match 3, etc)

as a example something like a "reverse" doki doki literature club would be a valid entry for this jam? And if its okay, what the projetc can and can't have?

In brazil there are no laws that prohibit cash prizes from contests,

and even without prize money I would like to participate.

The entire game must last 1 min or can have multiple 1 min "chapters", like a phoenix right games or a horror collection hq?
