Thanks a ton for playing my game!!! It's such an honor to have you play, and yes I would like to make the portals more pattern based with a little randomization just to make it predictable :)

Hey thanks for playing! I do wish I had some more variety on control schemes, I kinda just went with what i liked haha.. (whoops). I am curious though, I do have a screenshake in place, so if its not working for some reason thats something I'll need to look into.

Thanks again! <3

I love minesweeper, and this was minesweeper with PURPOSE! I will say that I found the shooting mechanic a biiit confusing at first, I tried to shoot the text of the killer, and admittedly I had the screen minimized, but I struggled to find some of the killers since their portraits were pretty similiar (probably just a be problem).

Super sweet entry!

I absolutely get that, I was beyond exhausted I nearly ended the jam without a web release, couldve been catastrophic!

Tell your fiance they make amazing music! (I'm sure you already do lol)

I like how the entrepreneurs story is one of repeated attempts, failures, and eventual success!.. Only to be met with dismay. I found some of the minigames fun, but I had difficulty aiming when making small adjustments. Slowly moving my mouse to the right would cause the camera to drift a little to the left, not sure if that's an issue on my side but regardless, still a fun experience!

Pretty fun game fitted up with some BANGER music, I was bumping to this beat the whole time. Haven't seen this take on countdown either, so huge props! I will say that personally I found the game to be way more lengthy than I expected, especially since the gameplay loop stayed largely the same, I was getting slliiiiiightly bored, but other than that great game!

Oh damn that is a HIGH score! I'm super glad someone shares my sentiment in controls, I love using they keyboard like a big controller! I was planning a LOT of progression in this game (shop, boss, tutorial), but unfortunately this was all I could manage </3. Thanks for playing!

Thanks for playing, and I'm sorry about that! I wish I had incorporated a tutorialk, but unfortunately ran out of time </3. Thanks for recording your gameplay, I'll definitely take a look!

Hey, thanks a ton for the feedback! In development, I was considering adding input buffering to the jumps, as initially pressing the jump would sometimes lead to it not registering, and that felt worse than simply jumping if you hold the button. I didn't have time to implement the buffering, but I definitly will keep this in mind! <3

Thanks! I tried to ensure there weren't any mechanics that felt unfair to the player <3

I love these scrapbooky collage styles so much, and paired with the minigames was a nice treat! Had a good bit of fun playing this one!

Wow, thanks a ton for playing my game! I'm so happy the mechanics reached you in such a deep and dynamic way, that was my intention and it kinda just came together at the end!

Those are some high scores too, I don't think I've gotten that far lol. And thanks for letting me know about the dash, I'll have to look into that <3

Put this puppy on the app store and you'll have loads of bored people waiting for an appointment or a meeting playing this game, this is really good stuff!

This game makes me think of my grandmother, and how painful it feels to watch someone fade as they forget themselves and you. Probably not intentionally emotional but at its core, it certainly was. Thank you for this submission <3

I would submit my garden, but itch isn't letting me!! (darn you itch!)

Pretty cool mix of top down gameplay and side scrolling! Those are some nice pictures too, good work!

Super fun game! I got to all the doors and went up through the rocket, super cool!

A cautionary tale for all of us. This is a nice reminder to respect myself and my finances, thank you <3

I got a score of 142! I like how hectic it gets after just a little bit, suuuper fast and possibly a bit addicting

Very nice art! I wish that you could just click on the items when you're close to the shops rather than needing to press enter first, but other than that I had fun

Very nice submission! Theres a great amount of tasks to do and I like the initial panic of just not knowing where to go for some of the objectives.

Thanks! The mechanics are preeetty basic so I'd like to improve on them a bit more!

Thank youuu! I took a lot of inspiration from spelunky artworks! <3

The movement definitely needs improvement, and the controls were a giaant oversight lol, I like using my keyboard like a big controller but I have learned that's not a shared sentiment.

I'm a bit curious to know when the dash doesn't trigger. Few key things I wasn't able to teach was that below 15 seconds you can no longer dash, and the dash depends on the direction you are moving (hold W to dash upwards). If it isn't working outside of these conditions, that's something I would definitely like to look into

Thank you! I'm glad you liked the dash mechanic!

Oh interesting, thank you for the feedback. I didn't consider making the blue orbs mathematically reachable, but that is definitely something I'll be looking into. As for the mold, it is kiiinda like an enemy! If you get caught inside of it as it grows, it'll wring the poor little slug guy out, and you'll be taking damage as it does. You can also slice through it with your sword!

Once again, I really appreciate the feedback!

Thanks a ton for the feedback! The dash itself needs some explaining (I didn't have time to give a tutorial), but it relies on the direction you are aiming. I put it in the description, but essentially if you hold W while doing the dash, you do indeed go pretty high up! As for a cooldown, it falls under the same umbrella (I reaaaallyy wish I had a tutorial), but once your timer falls bellow 15 seconds, you can no longer dash.

Thanks a ton for the genuine feedback! I'll be sure to write all of this down and learn from them <3

Hey thanks for the feedback! I do recall trying to implement a transition but in the end ran out of time, and I 1000% agree, my pinky just ends up cramping quite a bit

A super interesting take on the contdown! It's also preetyy punishing with its five second rule. Amazing work for a four day jam!

These were some pretty challenging puzzles! Good work

Pretty cool idea, can get tense trying to go down as fast as possible. Some auditory cues when you're getting hurt would be nice, I didn't realize I lost so much health for quite a bit

This is a VERY impressive project to have finished in just four days! The art looks great, the controls feel nice and snappy, and the generation is super neat, good job!

This is a pretty good representation of how many developers feel. So many ideas, to the point of analysis paralysis. I liked the story. I will say the movement felt a bit wonky, the FOV in sprinting made it feel like I should be going way faster than I actually was. Other than that, well done!

(1 edit)

I couldn't imagine an empress of light in this game. Thanks for playing <3

Aww thank you so much that is very sweet <3

LOL NOOO!! During development it looked a lot worst trust me! Thanks for playing, thats a stupid high score

Thank you! I'm glad you found the mechanics to be dynamic, that was a big challenge for me.

Hey, thanks for checking my game out!! The platforming was the one thing I took a lot of time to get as right as I possibly could, it's not perfect but it is what it is!

And thanks a ton for the feedback! I truly wish I could've built a tutorial, but I'm glad you were able to pick it up quick!

I remember seeing the progress posts on this game and just thinking "Holy that art is insane!" I'm so glad I am now able to play this! The sound design, the characters, the animations, and the gameplay all have careful consideration and make this game such a gem because of it. Good work to all of you!

Thanks for playing, I'm glad you liked it!!!! That strategy is one among many, I've seen some people try to get rid of it before it grows, some hoard them to kill the birds, and some are strategic and hoard them until the time is right! Also nice score!

The synergies you can craft in this game are great. Definitely worth a play
