Thank you for the kind comment, sadly I've taken too much time that I am filled with so many ideas for future chapters/other possible stories, so I'd like to get v0.7 out so I can finally keep going.
Sadly at this point I have no accurate idea based on my work schedule and the time it is taking. I am around 7X% done upscaling everything and about 6X% fiddling with the code to integrate all the new changes. While it sounds like I am super close I only have a few hours to work on it every day which is why it is taking so long. I do not want to give a number anymore because I am really bad at estimating my workload but I can see it being easily at least 2 weeks+ more due to how long each upscale takes and the time it takes.
For short reference there is about 1150~ animations to upscale (yes, the game will balloon to a stupid size, near 4GB from this even with compression, also no if you're wondering if I am making a build without animations lol, unless people really want it I guess but that is quite an ordeal to go back and edit out all the animation lines) the only saving grace is I already have the seed/animations just need to upscale.
Yeah, just completely overboard on time to taken to update. Obviously it is my fault because while I was like hey, sex animations is viable now! I didn't realize just how much H-scenes and angles my game has vs other games. So right now I am finishing upscaling said animations because there was quality issues before and finishing up putting everything together.
Upscaling basically eats all 64 GB of my ram and I have to constantly watch it which is why it is not that fast since I only have a few hours to work on it after work.
Hah not yet, you have to experience it first before getting to say anything. Though I will have the option of no animations/old UI (hopefully if I can implement it). And don't worry about me I am doing everything I can without trying to burn out.
Mhm, first few chapters are definitely more slice of life as the story progresses I trickle the main plot inside. I was too over ambitious on making UI and animation on every chapter updates along side everything else for CH 7 which has caused my timeline to explode.
I am glad to have shown you what I mean what futas are and how great they are. Also, I wouldn't say NO world building, its slow world building, I purposely do not explain a lot at once to pace the introduction of characters. And I personally came up with the story because of the issue I have with most harem story is, sex being the end game and then you do not see that character ever again until next time for sex. For Discord, it is Patreon/SubStar only perk because I do not want to handle moderating an open server.
Hah, I probably will because it has basically been non stop animations for the past few months and it's doing a number on me mentally vs still renders. But I want to get this out as soon as possible, my supporters have waited too long for this update and it is the only other thing doing a number on me mentally because of how long I am taking, mentally I am thinking that maybe it was the wrong choice dedicating this chapter to all these UI/animation etc.... only time will tell.
Yeah and I really appreciate that, but if I was only in it for money, which I am not, I would not pick something this hard to market/make. Because if futa games already are pretty niche (compared to male protag games), and people tend to want males too or male x futa which I don't want which cuts my potential audience again, thus niche inside a niche.
Sorry was out of town for a few days so couldn't respond but, while there are points I agree with about doing it monthly it also would do two things, dilute the product and make me burn out at the speed of light. When I cut off a chapter tends to be when I feel I covered most things I want to and I tend to write quite a bit. It's also an internal conflict of my own quality control at odds where if it's too short I feel like I am short changing my supporters because they expect each chapter to be big bangers (in my head they do). Plus while I appreciate all the support this has got to be one of the bottom tiers of financially viable projects possible because of the niche within a niche it encompasses, add my humor and well it's a relatively small group. If I was aiming strictly for money I'd be making the next big ntr phone game! But yeah, a 1~2 month cadence is just not viable for me, I do not come up with ideas or intermingling relationships that easily, it really isn't simple when you want a harem to be caring and compassionate with each other alongside the protagonist. (It's why most harems are just fuck and forget as you move on to your next harem member, but I want to write a harem where everyone matters to Celia)
I know for a fact that me taking this long has dented my credibility/trust with my following, but I hope when I do release v0.7 that they could see with the animations/GUI/UX/music that it was worth it (totally could be the opposite too and people say it was a complete waste of time). So as I grind out the rest of the work hopefully I can earn some trust back with what I've done, if not I will try and make sure v0.8 will be released faster.
Nah, this is because of the backlog of all previous 6 chapters (animations/gallery/coding/music) being compounded with Chapter 7's release time which none of it was there before, which is why it's taking me so long. Hopefully after Chapter 7, the cadences goes back to 3~4 month a release.
Still require a bit more time, I bit off way more than I can chew when it came to the massive increase in scope (with animations/gallery/music and such) I am currently expecting around 2 weeks~ or so to finish animations for Chapter 7 (was working on all the previous chapters and have finished all the previous 6 chapter's animations as of writing this post) and about another ~3 weeks or so to properly implement everything/code everything.
It has taken way longer than I expected because I underestimated the sheer amount of H-scenes renders I have and the time it takes to animate them (takes about 5~8 minutes an attempt and it still makes mistakes like adding fingers to the animation and I have over 900+ h-scene renders), the plus side is I do not need to do this backlog again.
Side note is, Chapter 7 will be released for Patrons only and not have a public release until Chapter 8 is out for patrons, as I feel 2 weeks is way too short and most people can just wait it out. Will see if this changes anything if not can change it back.
The reality is, I have limited time to work on the project after my job, but I am doing things as fast as I can.
Yeah, it's just taking a very long time because of me deciding to add animations/gallery/music and such and it takes like 5 minutes per animation attempts (usually doesn't give me what I want until a few attempts) and you know how many H-scene I got.
In my mind/canon she should be short of that with her final change (waaaaaaaaaay down the line). But for AI to display her size properly each time? Good luck finding out!
Oh I am, a lot of time to decompress within this 7 months as coding a gallery and animations not animating properly drives me up a wall. Thank you for your concern, it means a lot to me. <3
I am, and I know that it's taking me forever this time due to the sheer amount of backlog of things to do. The next version will have a lot of requested features, like a fully functional (per character) scene gallery and animations (mostly for H-scenes). Animations alone is eating a bulk of the time since there's over 700+ H-scene renders to animate and it's not magically doing it on first try. v0.7 is also bigger than v0.6 at 74k words at time of writing, nearly done with the renders there.
Just a lot needs to be done, coding, render, and UI wise. Still aiming for end of Q2 which is end of June, for Patreon release, though public won't be until Patreon gets v0.8 because 2 weeks wait clearly wasn't enough to push people to help support the project.
Short list of all the changes, new title screen/ui/gallery/animations/(some music)/chapter selection on top of Chapter 7 which is a large chapter.
I think you're getting a bit confused, I said I follow the JP futanari definition which is both genitals, I don't consider\ 'dick girls' or girls with dicks but no pussies as futa. There's even a rant about the subject in game.
Still projected to be sometime in Q2 this year for Patreon/SS subs, there is quite a bit of changes and doing animations/coding the gallery in among other things for all 7 Chapters has taken way more time than I'd like.
Chapter 7 also has slightly more complex CGs too so even rendering has been delayed, but I am working on it as fast as I can.
Wow, thank you for such such high praise. I know it's taking me absurdly long for the next version, but hopefully it'll be well worth the wait with the new gallery and addition of animations for every previous chapter.

Should be in Q2 26 unless something goes horribly wrong. It's taking even longer as I'm doing work for all 7 chapters. Like adding animations and marking the gallery locations so it isn't just one chapters work(on top of Chapter 7 being the longest yet too).
Not for quite a bit for public and for Patrons I am still working on renders/animation. No hard ETAs due to me adding animations to all previous chapters and a gallery which is why it will take even longer than usual.
Yeah, it will take quite a while until free versions comes out in the future, though I am debating on releasing an updated v0.6 with all the newer features(gallery/BMG/UI) (but this would also come at the cost of not being able make a full demo playable on Itch due to size).

But nope, there's no hard ETAs due to the fact there will be a UI overhaul/Gallery/Animations/Music being added in the next version. Though free readers like on Itch and such will be stuck on v0.6 until v0.8 comes out as I shift from releasing it in two weeks after paid to see if it gets me more patrons. (Due to the fact my Patreon/SS is stagnating and also very low CTR to my Patreon/SS, I get like 1k something views a month on Patreon which is nothing.) That being said, I'm still not done writing v0.7 yet either (getting close), though it will be like Chapter 5 where you have a lot of things happen before any choices.
You flatter me, I just do my best to write a silly story in the way that I want and it makes me very happy that a lot of readers enjoy it. (Especially with comments or the end survey, it helps me keep going.) Humor has been the most challenging part to write for me as I don't try and force jokes, plus it has to make sense too. I do enjoy it being canon that I self insert myself anytime I want :P
I usually ban and purge them when I get the chance, but they've been at it every day now. Seems like they are circumventing Itch's detection by using a Itch page themselves.
Glad you loved the Star wars reference and the AVN. While the humor and 4th wall breaks aren't everyone's thing, it does make my AVN unique in a silly way.
I already have plans on the approaches of futa potions from both Brenda and April (they won't be the same). So you will just have to wait and see what I cook up.
