Hey sorry, this might be a bit all over the place, but here was my thoughts playing the game:

  • i like the ability to set to clean text instead of pixel. I'm getting old so having this option was nice lol.
  • UI is really organized. I have to say my experience with card games are close to zero (haven't played them since the metal gear card games), but I do like the UI. I'm glad there's a tutorial or I'd be totally lost haha.
  • Starting to get the hang of it. pretty fun now, got the hang of making equipment, but how do i cook the grain? can't put it in the fire.
  • when setting up battles, would be nice to check the stats of units already deployed, or take one unit off. there's only an option to clear and reset all the pieces.
  • Ok played this for almost 2 hours, when you get the hang of this, it's really cool. I've yet to get the more advanced buildings, but yeah i can see myself sinking more hours into it lol.

you can trust me... ;)

Writing is a skill like any other. Do it more and you get better. BTW it's impossible to get any kind of specific advice without asking more specific questions :)

give him the chair

Made with Unity. Build is playable on Windows, and Steam Deck (with the SteamOS Dev kit)

haha thanks :D AI posts get the most responses, so i thought what the heck, worst that can happen is I get banned

Actually it's not, but now that I got your attention, come check out my game

The perfect game is just fun. There's some games where on paper shouldn't work at all, but playing them just results in hours sunk and a bunch of laughs or fun had. Crab game is one example.

Storyline is my jam! I'm creating a Turn-based Tactical RPG, this demo is roughly 30 mins long. Let me know your thoughts :)

The Uprising - Turn-based Tactical RPG, full controller support, and works great on the Steam Deck (using SteamOS Dev Kit)

Yeah pretty much. It's a long process and I understand the 'why' behind it, except for requirement that it has to be listed as "coming soon" for 2 weeks before it can go live... If they did they already completed the game build / storefront page review, why the need for this requirement? I think their approval process is mostly to make sure malware or anything like that isn't being spread (assuming here).

Steam has some annoying process where your game build takes 3-5 business days for approval, then needs to be listed as "coming soon" for 2 weeks before you can publish it. Sometimes we just wanna upload it and get people to play it lol.

The bird ate me lol
