your options are very limited if you want to make your game on a browser/phone, so i think you still have to download a coding software like godot or gamemaker if you want to still win some prizes, although maybe you can try and hide your game somewhere in your files if you really want to keep it a surprise for your family.

hello everyone! i'm joining this gamejam because i wanna actually improve in game dev (and force my lazy brain to work and not just play deltarune for 3+ hrs every day)

i've never really used a game engine before that isn't a building block language, i've only ever used scratch, and i've been on there for 5+ years.

but still, i'm excited to participate in this! even if it does mean that i have to suffer through thousands of godot errors.
