Hi everyone!

I’m developing Last Signal at Sea, a browser game where you play as a coastal rescue operator.

When a distress call comes in, you need to examine reports, investigate clues, decide where to send a rescue boat, and respond to new information as the situation develops. The current build includes five cases, and the game randomly selects one for each new run.

It’s free to play in your browser, with no download required. The game supports English and Simplified Chinese.

Play here:

I’d especially appreciate feedback from people playing for the first time:

- During the first few minutes, was it clear what you needed to do? Where, if anywhere, did you get confused?

- Did you feel you had enough information to choose a search area? What influenced your decision?

- Did the rescue decisions and their consequences make sense?

- Would you be interested in playing another case? Why or why not?

You don’t need to finish the case. If you stop early, I’d still love to know where you stopped and why. Please mention the case title, your device, and browser if relevant.

The game is still in development, and honest criticism is welcome. Please avoid revealing case solutions in public comments so that other players can experience them for themselves.

Thank you for taking the time to try it!

At first, I didn’t know that I could press the spacebar to jump.

I stopped at the point shown in the screenshot because I couldn’t figure out how to get past the vertical obstacle.

I didn’t encounter anything that felt unfair or broken. The music and sound effects were okay, but they didn’t stand out to me.
