Just ran 0.9.3 and the sound volume is perfect for me now!

Both Goonies and 7 new Conan levels sound like great ideas!  I would probably vote for Goonies first.  If you check Lemon64 ratings, most people gave Goonies a higher rating compared to Conan.  So Goonies is the more popular choice if your on the fence about what to do next.

For your Conan idea, it would be nice to have the option to play just the 7 original levels or another option to play your new expanded/enhanced version with all 14 levels together!  Or your new 7 levels might be a whole different story separate from the one we have now.  Just some ideas.

You fixed it!  Thanks!  Two more comments:

1) I have the volume set to max for music and sfx and can barely hear the music/sfx when playing.  I feel like the volume should be about twice as loud.  Do you have this issue too?

2) Can you add the ability to make Conan portable?  For example, if I create a directory named "portable" in the directory where I have the Conan-Hall-of-Volta.exe program, then high scores, settings, logs, shader_cache, etc would be stored in the "portable" directory instead of the "%APPDATA%\Conan-Hall of Volta\" directory.  This makes it easy to transport the game with its settings to another computer.  Your program would only need to check if a directory named "portable" exists where Conan-Hall-of-Volta.exe is.  If it exists, settings are stored there.  Otherwise, settings are stored in "%APPDATA%\Conan-Hall of Volta\".  If you do this, don't forget to update your excellent user manual too!

Great work on this!  I hope you can do some more classic Commodore 64 Datasoft games as well which might include Bruce Lee, The Goonies, and Zorro!  Not a Datasoft game, but Karateka would be great too!

Thanks for doing a great remake of Conan!  It's been fun playing it again.  I wanted to report a bug.  I'm using version 0.9.1.  I enabled the "FREE LIVES" cheat and started a new game at level 1.  I finished levels 1 through 6 in sequence.  After finishing level 6, it showed level 8 with the words "Thus Volta was destroyed", etc.  It skipped level 7.  I assume that's a bug.

kremiso, see if turning OFF motion blur and dense scenery helps.

I just played Lotus 1 quite a bit using 1.1.0 and have no issues on road curves.  If it helps, my specs are Win11, Intel 12900k CPU, GeForce RTX 3070ti GPU, using 1080p resolution.  kremiso, can you provide your similar specs as it might help for troubleshooting.

Great work!  I like it!  And I noticed the Lotus 3 tumbleweed collisions are perfect now!

WOW!  Excellent work for these classic Lotus games!  I tried each of the 3 Lotus games and all work great and the enhanced widescreen graphics really make it much better than the originals.  I'm using version 1.0.3.  I'm wondering, would it be a good idea to display the version number in-game somewhere like in the game options menu for each game?
