Hey Virgil, I appreciate your interest in the project. Although your sound isn't a good fit for the overall vision of the project.
Additionally, with the use of AI, that would have been something I am not okay with. While AI is a great tool for many uses, It's in this day generally frowned upon often in the creative arts space.

I'd love to take a closer look at your work and share it with someone who's helping me develop the mod. We have a particular vision for the dimension and its atmosphere, so I'd like to get their thoughts on whether your musical style would be a good fit for what we're trying to create.

That being said, even if we ultimately decide to go in a different direction for the ambient soundtrack, you'd absolutely be welcome to contribute original tracks for Music Discs! I'd love to give talented creators an opportunity to have their work featured in the mod, and I think Music Discs would be a fantastic way to showcase different musical styles.

Hey! I’m developing a Minecraft mod that introduces a dimension drained of XP, filled with ruined fortresses and an eerie, dark fantasy atmosphere.

I’m looking for musicians interested in sharing some of their existing work for ambient exploration music and collectible in-game music discs. This is an unpaid hobby collaboration.

You would retain ownership of your music. We would agree on permission to include it in the mod, and you would receive clear credit and links on the Modrinth page and in-game. You’re also welcome to contribute ideas and help with playtesting, if that interests you.

The mod is still in early development, so I don’t have much to show yet. I’d be happy to chat or hop on a call to explain the concept and hear your thoughts.
